Embracing resilience is not just about enduring; it is about thriving in the face of adversity and growing stronger with each hurdle crossed.
When we focus on building our resilience, it involves overcoming personal weaknesses and beating down any self-doubt.
We are not a product of what has happened to us in our past.
We have the power of choice.
THE WORD OF THE DAY- RESILIENCE
Resilience can refer to positive adjustment in the face of adversity.
Resilience has also been defined as the capacity of individuals to cope successfully with significant change, adversity, or risk.
Resilience is a precious skill.
People who have it tend to also have three underlying advantages: a belief that they can influence life events; a tendency to find meaningful purpose in life’s turmoil; and a conviction that they can learn from both positive and negative experiences.
Courage does not always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow.
