Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.

CONTINUING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Yesterday my walking buddy, Dan and I did our routine daily walk; man was it really hot.

Usually there is a breeze of some sort, however; yesterday there was none and it felt like 95F.

Nevertheless, by the time we were done with our 2-mile walk; sweat just poured down our faces.

For Dan and I, we should be used to this; for I was raised there and Dan had been living in Florida for over thirty years.

Dan working outside and I working in our yard! I guess we are just getting too old or perhaps feeling that since we live near the Blue Ridge Mountains it would be cooler.

So, we stopped before going home at our co-op grocery store and bought taco ingredients for dinner, as we were there Dan went right over to the ice tea’s (HONEST).

We’ve been occasionally purchasing bottles, for they have been on sale 3 for $5.00. I was impressed with the bottle tops, for each one has a saying.

Yesterdays was, “No man can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude without finally getting bewildered as to which may be true” By Nathaniel Hawthorne

Different words have different impacts.

Words of encouragement, unleash a winner.

Words of motivation, strengthens a fighter.

Words of love, magnifies a life.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Throughout much of ancient history, the left-handers had equal rights.

One good hand deserves another!

This was even true in writing.

The Egyptians didn’t feel they had to write left to right.

They wrote up, down; left or right depending on whim.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

There’s a big difference between focusing on negative things and ignoring something that needs some attention to be resolved.

Always remember the reaching mantra, “What you allow, you encourage.”

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

WITH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

THROUGH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

21 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.

From yesterday, as the memories buck, they bring splinters to the surface.

Problems, which were pushed deep inside, rankle.

This is the point when you need to sit yourself down for a pep talk.

Tell yourself; I can make it through this turmoil.

This too shall pass and when it does, I will be a new person; free.

The relationship I have will not be the one I fantasize, but the one we develop together.

It won’t come out of a mold; it will be slowly formed by our choices.

What we build will be new.

I will use the past as a guide, not my blueprint.

This is what a real relationship is all about, finding what works.

The relationship the two of you develop is better than fantasy.

It will be earned, nurtured, grown, and uniquely yours.

Tomorrow, REALITY FIGHTS EXPECTATIONS.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

Sage may lower ‘Bad’ LDL Cholesterol.

Every minute, more than one person in the US dies from heart disease.

High “bad” LDL cholesterol is a key heart disease risk factor, affecting one in three Americans.

Sage may help lower “bad” LDL cholesterol, which can build up in your arteries and potentially cause damage.

In one study, consuming sage tea twice daily lowered “bad” LDL cholesterol and total blood cholesterol while raising “good” HDL cholesterol after just two weeks.

Several other human studies illustrate a similar effect with sage extract.

Intake of sage and sage products have been shown to lower “bad” LDL cholesterol levels and raise “good” HDL cholesterol levels.

MORE BENEFITS TO COME.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Me and my walking buddy, Dan; did our daily routine, however it was 🔥 hot and hardly any breeze. Temperature felt like 95f.

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Loving Kindness Meditation

This meditation will guide you to a deeper appreciation for self and the world around you.

Useful for anyone who desires inner peace as well as general relaxation.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
