One small positive thought can change your whole day.
CONTINUING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Hello Followers,
Are you ready to start the new week!
Let’s start with a kind word and thought.
Kind words have the power to change life.
Yes, the kind words can change your life. Dan and I have experienced it in our lives.
Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are endless. ~ Mother Teresa
Never use negative words, they tear apart.
Negative words are the result of hatred, anger, jealousy; in a nut shell, negative emotions.
Their use affects us as well as the people around us.
Every word we say somewhere creates an impact.
Choose words with care, wisdom and love.
Let your bitter words not be the cause of rendering pain to you and others.
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.
It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.
WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?
Something to think about! If Neanderthal men which were an extinct species or subspecies of archaic humans who lived in Eurasia until about 40,000 years ago, were exclusively right-handed; they would have invented right-handed tools.
Correct?
Instead, they invented ambidextrous tools; suitable for either hand.
Obviously, a lot of left-handed Neanderthals helped design those clever innovations.
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
THOUGHTS AND WORDS
In all your waking hours, you’re having a mind party.
Your thoughts are your guests.
Those you don’t pay attention to and refuse to entertain will eventually get bored and leave.
Make sure to entertain only the ones you want to keep around.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
WITH PICTURES
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
THROUGH PICTURES
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.
This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.
From yesterday; what is no longer acceptable is browbeating your screwed-up person to get them to meet your needs or choose the same goals as when they are not willing to do so.
This time of splinter searches is the most difficult time in the relationship; harder than the longing times, the sad times, or the angry times.
The period feels like you are in a rodeo and your emotions are tossing you in all directions as they bounce off the memories and the unfulfilled dreams.
As the memories buck, they bring splinters to the surface.
Problems, which were pushed deep inside, rankle.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?
Sage may support memory and brain health.
Sage can help support your brain and memory in several ways.
For one, it’s loaded with compounds that can act as antioxidants, which have been shown to buffer your brain’s defense system.
It also appears to halt the breakdown of the chemical messenger acetylcholine (ACH), which has a role in memory.
ACH levels appear to fall in Alzheimer’s disease.
In one study, 39 participants with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease consumed either 60 drops (2 ml) of a sage extract supplement or a placebo daily for four months.
Those taking the sage extract performed better on tests that measured memory, problem-solving, reasoning and other cognitive abilities.
In healthy adults, sage was shown to improve memory in low doses. Higher doses also elevated mood and increased alertness, calmness and contentedness.
In both younger and older adults, sage appears to improve memory and brain function.
Studies show that sage may improve memory, brain function and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
MORE BENEFITS TO COME.
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Yesterday’s afternoon walk 👢was very 🔥 hot.
Dan and I walked to our favorite coffee ☕ shop and around the plaza, trying to stay in the shade.
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation
Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.
Guided Meditation for Optimism (Mindfulness and Loving-Kindness)
Optimism is a powerful tool to help you fend off cynicism and bitterness.
In this 15-minute guided meditation, we'll use mindfulness and loving-kindness to help us invoke feelings of optimism and shift our mindset to become more optimistic.
“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford
We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
CHANGE YOUR WHOLE DAY💌
One small positive thought can change your whole day.
Until Tuesday, you are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.
Positive thoughts can let you focus on the brighter side of life.
A positive person can enjoy happiness and success since he believes that he can easily overcome all the obstacles and difficulties that come his way.
Not all people generally agree with positive thinking.
In fact, some people consider it a nonsense. However, there are a number of people who believe in its effectiveness.
If you want to use this in your life then you must practice the attitude of positive thinking in everything that you do.
