RECAPPING THIS WEEK ON; SELF- WORTH AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 24th TO OCT 31st. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN,

This is Dan’s and my favorite time of the year.

When we were young, we would always dress up?

What was the best costume you ever dressed up in!

Witches, get on your brooms!

Halloween is the day when everyone gets to be a little bit wild, a little bit crazy, and a whole lot of fun.

I can remember being a kid, and loved dressing up in unusual costumes and going from house to house for some candies.

As Dan and I got older we were able to uphold the tradition by throwing Halloween parties with friends and family.

If you’re planning on hosting one such party, then you should consider using one or more spooky Halloween phrases that might add just the right amount of ambiance your party needs to make it memorable.

Watch out for zombies!

Fright night.

Be careful what you wish for.

Get your scare on.

TRICK OR TREAT, love to see pictures of your Halloween day.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

SELF-WORTH

Sometimes people confuse self-love with big ego.

The two are totally different.

People with big egos think they are better then others, people who love themselves don’t think they are better or worse than others.

Comparison is useless, as we all have strengths and weaknesses.

Focusing on one or the other is not the whole picture.

If you love yourself, you know that you are worthy of love and of good things in life and that you are capable of unlimited great things.

You will inspire others to realize the same about themselves as well.

ITS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Even after the month ends, breast cancer awareness should continue.

We should always follow our hearts and seek other sources.

With the different technological tools out there, we can manage cancer and overcome this disease.

Dan and I had started a series of INFORMATION FROM THE CANCER CONTROL SOCIETY CONVENTION OF 2017 on Aug 31, 2020.

Dan and I were very fortunate four years ago to be invited to the Cancer Control Society Convention, which so happened to be the first week of September.

Dan and I had gone around to the vendors and spoke with them about their products or services.

At that time, I had gathered pamphlets, along with information regarding to help prevent or manage cancer.

RECAPPING, sharing this information with you.

It’s amazing what you will learn, so click on below posts.

I’m excited in sharing!!

Never doubt that one person can make a difference.

The greatest service to others is living happily, and radiating happiness and joy to those around me.

Smile, it’s the key that fits the lock on everyone’s hearts.

Nothing can dim the light that shines from within.

CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN YOUR HEART TO A NEW BEGINNING

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Are Left Handers Less Healthy Than Right Handers?

Left handers and periodic limb movement disorder, a 2011 study from the American College of Chest Physicians suggested that left handers have significantly higher chances of developing periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD)

This disorder is characterized by involuntary, repetitive limb movements that happen while you sleep, resulting in disrupted sleep cycles.

Left handers and PTSD, a 2007 source published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress screened a small sample of nearly 600 people for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The group of 51 people who met the criteria for a possible PTSD diagnosis contained significantly more left handers.

Left-handed people also had significantly higher scores in arousal symptoms of PTSD.

The authors suggested the association with left handedness may be a robust finding in people with PTSD.

Left handers and psychotic disorders, a 2013 Yale University study focused on the left and right handedness of outpatients in a community mental health facility.

The researchers found that 11 percent of the patients studied with mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder, were left-handed.

This is similar to the percentage of the general population, so there was not an increase in mood disorders in those who were left-handed.

However, when studying patients with psychotic disorders, such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, 40 percent of the patients reported writing with their left hand.

This was much higher than what was found in the control group.

Generally speaking, left-handers are defined as people who write with their left hand, although some may use either hand for some tasks (ambidextrous) or prefer different hands for different tasks (mixed).

RECAPPING THIS WEEK ON; SELF- WORTH AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 24th TO OCT 31st. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

The most powerful relationship you will ever have has been the relationship with yourself.

A person's worth in this world is estimated according to the value they put on themselves.

Self-worth is about who you are, not about the number of likes or followers you've got.

Prove that you believe in yourself by investing in your dreams.

Know your worth, hold your own power, be you.

When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.

It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

20 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 8; HANDLING FRAZZLED EMOTIONS.

Today, self-control wins-

One of the great moments of your life will be the first time you are able to maintain control of your own actions and responses when a difficult person is on the rampage.

You can do it if you back off?

Refuse to argue.

Set your limits.

Stand as an equal who has the upper hand.

You can care about and feel pity for this person whose ugly behaviors cause such chaos but you don’t have to let them control you.

Continue tomorrow-

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of NETTLE. It’s amazing what and how nettle can help keep your body healthy?

INNER BEAUTY

Outer beauty pleases the EYE. Inner beauty captivates the HEART. Have a Happy Halloween 🎃 #outer#beauty#pleases#eye👀❤️ #inner#captivates#heart#happyhalloween

Until Monday, life is too short to waste any amount of time on wondering what other people think about you. In the first place, if they had better things going on in their lives, they wouldn't have the time to sit around and talk about you. What's important to me is not others' opinions of me, but what's important to me is my opinion of myself.

DAN AND I WISH YOU A HOWLING HAPPY HALLOWEEN,

BE SAFE.
