Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.

Continuing the SERIES ON BELIEVING

Hello followers,

Its Friday, Hurray the weekend begins and it’s time for relaxation and to let lose. Dan and I were discussing our passions the other day.

Our passion speaks with our hearts and blog about health, nutrition and natural treatments.

What is your passion? Actions speak louder than words — but desires speak loudest. Have you ever been so excited about something that you’ve felt it through your whole body? Is there a topic, or a subject, or a project that truly energizes you?

Is there anything in your life that gives you that same electric tingle? What gets you up in the morning and motivates you to get through the week? Do you have any hobbies? Groups you’re a member of that you love participating in?

Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to great things. Denis Diderot

Be Your Own Cheerleader

By spending time alone, you’ll discover parts of yourself that may have gone unnoticed.

Write down a list of ten things you really like about yourself. It could be you make a perfect cup of tea, or have a wicked sense of humor or great eyebrows. Don’t be modest, go all out on your best traits. This will give you an instant self-esteem boast and leave you feeling good in your own company.

Simple Joys

Head to a woodland, river or the seaside and be captivated by nature. Observe the colors, listen to the sounds of birds. Step quietly to see what wildlife you can spot. Breathe deeply and feel the air fill your lungs. Be present and in the moment.

Guided Meditation and Visualization for Stress Relief: A Forest Walk

Guided imagery is a wonderful relaxation technique that uses the imagination to help shift a stressed mood to one of peace and calm. It is very powerful and effective. This guided relaxation takes you for a walk through a beautiful secluded forest.

Nothing great in the world was accomplished without passion. Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel

Believe in Miracles!

Love your life. Believe in your own power, your potential and your innate goodness.

Every morning, wake with the awe of just being alive. Each day, discover the magnificent, awesome beauty in the world. Explore and embrace life in yourself and in everyone you see each day. Reach within to find your own specialness. Amaze yourself, and rouse those around you to the potential of each new day.

Don’t be afraid that you are less perfect; this is the essence of your humanity. Let those who love you help you. Trust enough to be able to take. Look with hope to the horizon of today, for today is all we truly have. Live this day well. Let a little sunshine out as well as in. Create your own rainbows. Be open to all your possibilities; possibilities can be miracles. Always believe in miracles! By Vickie M. Worsham

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breaths away. By Author Unknown

Awhile back, Dan and I was putting this exercise in our home program. We decided to start this exercise back and interchange with Qigong. If you haven’t been following the blog, a recap of what swing is!

This is how to do it: • Stand with legs shoulder-width apart. • With palms facing downwards, raise both arms to chest level. • Swing arms in a pendulum-like motion. • After every five swings, bend knees slightly and spring up quickly.

The exercise demands little use of actual strength and on the contrary, encourages relaxation of the body.

On the surface level, it appears that this exercise does help provide the body with a level of physical activity, and it is simple enough for even the most unfit of persons to do.

My Journey of Completion – Body, Heart & Soul (Enjoying Life While Managing Cancer), this book I wrote and was published four years ago; showing my passion on life and experience with managing cancer without surgery, chemo and radiation. I would like to share some pages with you doing this series of believing.

Journey with Color

The whole idea of mixing the art of color with journey of one’s life is to interact with the beauty that surrounds us while creating your own masterpiece. Colors can set a mood, attract attention, or make a statement. You can apply color to energize, or to cool down.

By selecting the right color scheme, we create an ambiance of elegance, warmth or tranquility and convey an image of playful youthfulness. Color can be your most powerful design factor if you learn to use it effectively.

I sense that if you understand what the colors represent, you will be able to relate then when you close your eyes and imagine from time to time your path.

Ready for foods and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Moving on to the herb; cayenne. Because of its legendary curative properties, its exciting flavor, and its magical ability to sustain a sense of well-being. Cayenne is one of Dan's favorite herbs for both medicinal and culinary purposes.

Cayenne is a hot and spicy herb that has countless uses in your kitchen as well as benefits for your health. It can relieve pain, prevent a cold from settling in, dramatically support heart health and promote healthy weight loss. However, be cautious with the extremely hot energetics of cayenne.

Success is determined by how well you match the herb to the person. In the post ahead, I will let you know how to use it and some recipes. Wait until tomorrow for more on cayenne.

Yesterday, Dan and I walked around the mall that we live by. We got in our two mile walk and at the same time rested in Barnes and Noble with a cup of coffee. This gave me time to do research for the blog. Sometimes you have to mix work with health!

NEVER FORGET

People will forget, what you said. People will forget, what you did; But People will never Forget, how you made them Feel. #whatyousaid#forget#whatyoudid#feel#forget#inspiration#motivational

Until Saturday, remember passion requires focused direction, and that direction must come from three other areas: your purpose, your talents, and your needs. In the human heart new passions are forever being born; the overthrow of one almost always means the rise of another.
