Prayer immediately turns us into something greater than ourselves.

RECAPPING THIS WEEK ON SERIES, SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE AND DANDELION.

Hello Followers,

Happy Memorial Day Week-end!

SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF.

Today Dan and I are blogging on the third level that we learned to fuel the WHY in something bigger than ourselves, Community.

You are driven not just by your own achievements or the well-being of your family, but by the world around you, be it the city or town in which you live in the global community.

Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?

Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!

On this day MAY 29; Learn About Composting Day.

We all want to do our part to conserve natural resources and reduce our carbon footprint.

Composting is not only an environmentally safe fertilizer but it can help you save water, energy, fuel, and money!

It also keeps toxins from getting in our run-off and groundwater through the use of chemical- based commercial fertilizers.

The use of a natural fertilizer made from compost will make your garden hospitable to wildlife helpers like honeybees, hummingbirds and of course, worms!

So, what it composts?

Compost is organic matter that has decomposed.

In a garden, decomposition is a good thing!

Compost can be made from kitchen scraps, lawn clippings, newspapers, leaves wood chips, coffee grinds; almost any food products except for processed foods and meat or fish products.

Composting saves resources, and because of its high nutrient content, it adds to soil stability and reduces soil disease.

It will help your garden grow lush and promote healthy growth in seedlings and plants.

It’s for all these reasons gardeners call compost “black gold”.

Composting allows you to accomplish the big environmental three: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

It’s also National Paperclip Day.

The paperclip, in various forms, shapes, and sizes, has been around for a little under two centuries.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

THROW YOUR DREAMS INTO SPACE LIKE A KITE, AND YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT WILL BRING BACK, A NEW LIFE, A NEW FRIEND, A NEW LOVE, A NEW COUNTRY.

They who have a why can bear anyhow.

Look for something positive in every day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.

You can't rush something you want to last forever.

Life is very interesting. In the end, some of your greatest pains become your greatest strengths.

It's okay to love something bigger than yourself without fearing it.

To be truly happy, you need a clear sense of direction.

Life is meant for living, yet we live for the paycheck and we aim for the weekend.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS

DO WHAT YOU MUST DO-

Do what you must do, even as you try your best to work with the problem person.

Sometimes the best resolution is that you agree to disagree.

WHATEVER YOU DO, REMEMBER-

ü The way I say something is as important as what I say I am responsible for my words and acts.

ü I must be open about my thoughts and feelings.

ü I will be sensitive to the underlying need of the difficult person in my life, the need to be heard and appreciated.

ü I will do right, regardless of what is done to me.

ü I will be objective and as distanced from the chaos as possible.

ü I will validate the person with whom I am conversing by talking seriously what they say, though I will use common sense and experience in accepting its validity.

ü I will develop a plan of action based on the reality of what is possible.

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; DANDELION and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how dandelion can help keep your body healthy?

Dandelion can reduce the inflammation which causes arthritis symptoms.

Arthritis is an inflammatory disease that affects the joints and can cause chronic pain, primarily in older patients (though younger people have also been known to suffer from it in some cases.)

In fact, the name arthritis literally translates to inflammation of the joints.

Dandelion can reduce the inflammation which causes arthritis symptoms by dulling some of your nerves so that they are less sensitive and thus transmit less information that would’ve otherwise triggered inflammation.

This can make it easier for arthritis patients to live with their condition since the symptoms will be less noticeable.

Having an active lifestyle can also stave off the progression of arthritis.

The energy boost that you get when drinking dandelion tea can make it easier for you to partake in activities such as basketball or going to the gym which will reduce the severity of your arthritis.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

PRAYER 🙏

Prayer immediately turns us into something greater than ourselves. #prayers#immediately#turns#us#into#somethinggreater#ourselves#greater

Until Memorial Day, there is something that you can do, for a greater good, for a greater cause, one that is far bigger than just yourself. Find it, and then, do it.
