Hello followers,


Are you ready for a new month, new week, and a new day!


Welcome to Monday.


 September feels like the last burst of summer.


It is not the new year, but it is a new season.



Kids are back in school.


We slowly pull warmer layers out of our closets, watch the leaves turn from green to golden, and plan for the upcoming holiday season.



 Before we know it, it is time to carve our pumpkins and then the turkey.


Somehow, September represents summer's farewell and the cheerful introduction to autumn festivities.



We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer's wreckage. We will welcome summer's ghost. - Henry Rollins

THE WORD OF THE DAY-INDIVIDUALS


There is no question that individuality is a highly prized quality in our society.


We celebrate those who march to the beat of their own drum and admire people who have the courage to be themselves.



But what does it really mean to be an individual?


To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.


All greatness of character is dependent on individuality.

September 2nd



STAND IN THE TREES


Long fingers reaching toward the sky, decorated with colorful flags or bare, breathing in and out, the trees all around you are a community of individuals as unique as you and your loved ones.


You pass them every day, patient watchers recording history in their rings, standing through seasons.



They take each moment as it comes and teach lessons if we are willing to listen.


Steadiness is its own virtue, and so is the ability to take the seasons of life as they come.
