Hello followers,

 Thank goodness for Friday!

The word of the day is boundaries.

Do you truly know what the word means?

Many people know what the word boundaries means, but they have no idea what they are.

You might think of boundaries as something like a property line or brick wall used to keep people out.

But boundaries are not rigid lines drawn in the sand that are clear for all to see.

Boundaries are a way to take care of ourselves.

When you understand how to set and maintain healthy boundaries, you can avoid the feelings of resentment, disappointment, and anger that build up when limits have been pushed.

THE WORD OF THE DAY-BOUNDARIES

Boundaries can take many forms.

They can range from being rigid and strict to appearing almost nonexistent.

A person with healthy boundaries understands that making their expectations clear helps in two ways: it establishes what behavior you will accept from other people, and it establishes what behavior other people can expect from you.

If you have healthy boundaries, you might: share personal information appropriately not too much or not too little.

You understand your personal needs and wants and know how to communicate the value of your own opinions.

You accept when others tell you no.

It is important to appreciate those of others, too, even if they are different from your own.

So how can you determine what they are?

It is about using your common sense.

If your friend hates using social media, there is a good chance they would not want those coupled-up selfies plastered across your Instagram or Facebook account.

Or, if a friend says they do not want to see a particular movie, do not pester them until they cave in.

So, remember your boundaries and others when you set out this weekend.

 RESPECT YOUR BOUNDARIES

The lines you draw around your heart can contain your joy or keep out what could harm you.

How you hold those lines is entirely up to you; you can be firm and steadfast or flexible and porous.

Your boundaries do not have to be walls or a fortress that you build for your heart.

You can leave the doors and windows open if you choose.

You can move the fences, dismantling whatever no longer brings you joy.

What is most important is that you do so with intention, not out of habit or fear.

Boundaries are a house you must live in; make sure you feel good dwelling inside them.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

This guided meditation helps you feel relaxed and inspired to do the hard but rewarding work of setting boundaries in your life!

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Dan and I welcome you to go to the tag words and explore our posts.

Until Saturday, setting boundaries is far more beneficial than just defining our identity.

Having them in place limits your exposure to stress.
