Sometimes we must leave our true homes for something greater to come.

THIS WEEK WE ARE CONTINUING ON SERIES, SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – DANDELION.

Hello Followers,

Happy Memorial Day.

Today is about honor, for the most.

Commercially, Memorial Day means fun three-day weekend.

It comes in late May, after all, when days are long and green, a preview of summer vacation is to come.

Indeed, for lots of families, the holiday kicks off a glorious season of barbecues, swimming, and other outdoor fun.

But the true meaning of Memorial Day goes much deeper than this.

It is a somber day of remembrance for the men and women who have died for our country.

Its about HONOR, celebrating our freedom!

Somber as it is, Memorial Day is also a celebration of life, a time when we mark and appreciate the heritage that our fallen soldiers left us.

Planning a family barbecue?

By all means, do it with joy.

Eat, drink, and rejoice with loved ones!

BE SAFE!

Today Dan and I are blogging on the third level that we learned to fuel the WHY in something bigger than ourselves, religion, spirituality, values.

If you feel connected to something larger than yourself, you're driven by the very highest level of achievement, greater than the people around you, whether that means God, spirituality, or a set of values you live by.

In short, something that will outlast and outlive you.

Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?

Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!

On this day MAY 30; Memorial Day.

The last Monday in May serves, most importantly, as a time to honor those who died while fighting in the U.S. Armed Forces.

It’s a holiday steeped in somber American history and tradition.

The day actually began as Decoration Day, following the Civil War; when mourners placed flowers on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers.

Yes, Memorial Day has also come to signify the unofficial start of summer, but let’s remember the heroes who made it all possible.

It’s also, National Water a Flower Day.

National Water a Flower Day on May 30 calls for the care and love of all flowers of the world.

This day brings special attention to flowers and the many properties they benefit us with, such as their medicinal, therapeutic, and aesthetic properties.

Flowers are used by scientists to extract important medicinal qualities that have helped people overcome problems related to their skin, hair, organs, and immunity.

Moreover, studies have shown that simply caring for flowers and plants in general can have a positive therapeutic effect on people.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

CHANGING YOUR NEGATIVE BELIEFS IS THE FIRST STEP IN THE TRANSFORMATION PROCESS THAT WILL REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS

DO WHAT YOU MUST DO-

Harmonious communication and compromise are goals that will improve your relationship with your SUP.

But, with a difficult person, communication may feel like sticking your neck out for the ax to fall.

However, behold the turtle.

He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out.

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; DANDELION and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how dandelion can help keep your body healthy?

Dandelion helps skin infections!

There are many people who suffer from skin infections each year, and while they do pass eventually it still helps to be proactive in treating them.

Whether they’re microbial or fungal, it’s not a good idea to ignore skin infections as there are some cases in which they might progress into a more serious condition; which you wouldn’t want since that would make it harder and more expensive to treat.

The sap of dandelion has been known to be an effective natural treatment against eczema.

However, before you apply it topically you should proceed with caution since some people may have allergic reactions on their skin when using it depending on various genetic factors.

The high alkaline content in dandelion milk can also serve as a natural pesticide, and a healthier alternative to other topical creams that are filled with hormones.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

Until Tuesday, our goals should serve as markers,

measurements of the progress we make in pursuit of something greater than ourselves.
