Sometimes, you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Hello followers,

HAPPY WEEKEND!

What are your usual plans on a Saturday?

Does it include going somewhere exciting with family or friends, hustling on some work, or just staying in the house all day doing nothing?

There is no limit to what you can do.

Oh, my sweet Saturday, I have been waiting for you for six long days.

It has been found that gratitude reduces depression and increases happiness.

It is directly related to your mental health and the joy you feel.

Gratitude can boost your moods and improve your overall wellbeing.

Dopamine and serotonin are released in the brain, making you feel joy.

It is okay to feel negative from time to time.

But when you are feeling that way most of the time, you find yourself joyless and directionless.

You lose sight of who you are and what you are about.

Your aims become less about your needs and more about what others expect from you.

However, a simple act of appreciation can change the outcome of your life and emotional well-being.

You have feelings for a reason, they are meant to show you what you need.

And if you do not listen to them, they become louder.

Maybe the lessons your emotions are trying to teach you is to stop chasing whatever comes your way and see what you have.

Appreciate how far you have come.

Mental health declines when you do not live with gratitude.

You may fall into a depression or find yourself unhappy with what you have.

You may be stressed, not living for the right things, or feeling overwhelmed.

You may see only your problems.

But if you choose gratitude, you also choose joy.

You let in the positive and fix your focus.

Your gratitude is your natural mood booster.

When you see what you have, you decide to stay.

You decide to keep fighting for yourself.

You have a healthier attitude and way of being.

This helps you overall.

This can aid with depression.

This can aid with anxiety, worry, stress, and anger.

You can take a step back and go, “Okay, this is what is good.”

That is all you need to do to turn the situation around.

Then, you have that good with you in your heart when you make decisions.

You look up with more optimism and feel lighter.

You do not have to carry everything that you’ve been carrying.

Sometimes, it feels good to set it down and see what’s most important.

This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; HEARING

MUSIC FOR BODY AND SOUL

Humans are the only species on the planet able to create and make music.

Insects, animals, and birds make sounds, some of which are elaborate and may even be at frequencies beyond the human ear, but none of these creatures can conjure up sounds and put them together in complex musical patterns, as people have done for millennia.

Prehistoric, excavations have yielded primitive instruments like drums and rattles, showing that humankind’s relationship with sound making is very ancient.

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

January 21st

HUMPBACK WHALES MIGRATE up and down the coast every year.

In the winter, they search for warmer waters.

By instinct, they follow their inner compass and temperature changes of the ocean.

It is amazing that they know where and when to go.

We too have an inner compass that guides us through life.

If we take the time to listen for the subtle cues of our intuition, we can learn to trust our instincts at a deeper level!

Take a moment to be still and welcome the wisdom of your intuition.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Sunday, no matter how much time we spend on this earth, it will never be enough,

so enjoy it while you can, and don’t take anything for granted.
