Stand up and face your fears, or they will defeat you.

CONTINUING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, STARTING ON THE HERB – CHAMOMILE AND THE MAIN TOPIC; STAND UP FOR YOUR LIFE.

Hello followers,

Countdown to SPRING, 5 more days.

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

As Dan and I take a stand for our lives, one of the secrets in doing this is by practicing being transparent and authentic.

It might be difficult at times, but if you learn to express yourself openly and honestly, it will feel like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.

So often, we hide behind a halfhearted smile and nod instead of saying what we think.

It takes practice, but learning to be authentic and open about what you are feeling or thinking is the first step.

Once you get in the habit of making yourself heard without being overly accommodating or defensive, people will be more open to hearing you.

And, the stress will decrease; it’s a healthy lifestyle.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

PERFECTION OF RHYTHM, BALANCED PERFECTION OF RHYTHM. EVERYTHING IN NATURE IS EXPRESSED BY RHYTHMIC WAVES OF LIGHT. EVERY THOUGHT AND ACTION IS A LIGHT-WAVE OF THOUGHT AND ACTION.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Continuing on CHAPTER 14; HOW MANY TIMES DO I SAY “SORRY”?

STEPS IN AN APOLOGY

Today, second step – TIMING

In general, the sooner you apologize the better.

The old saying - Never let the sun go down on anger, is a wise injunction.

Simmering anger grows exponentially as time drags it out.

However, don’t rush the apology.

Recognize and appreciate the person’s cooldown style.

Some people can hear an apology seconds after the wrong has been committed, but others need time to cool down.

When you do apologize, be sure there will be plenty of time to talk out the issues.

Listen, but do not allow the session to degenerate into an attack session.

Tomorrow, third step – PREPARATION

Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; CHAMOMILE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how chamomile can help keep your body healthy?

Did you know that chamomile is a high source of antioxidants?

WELL!

The main antioxidant components extracted from chamomile flowers are the terpenoid group of antioxidants, including chamazulene and acetylene derivatives.

Because these delicate compounds are unstable, they’re thought to be best preserved in an alcoholic tincture or “essential oil” form.

Other major constituents of the flowers include several phenolic compounds, primarily the flavonoids, including apigenin, quercetin, patuletin as well as various glucosides.

These compounds help to reduce inflammation by fighting free radical damage and preventing cell mutation.

Chamomile benefits start with antioxidants that are associated with better immune function, lower rates of mood disorders, reduced pain and swelling, and healthier skin, hair, nails, teeth and eyes.

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Thursday, never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it.

The time will pass anyway.
