The clock always ticks. There are times you don't hear it, and there are times that you do.
THIS WEEK WE ARE CONTINUING ON THE NEW SERIES, DON’T LET YOUR ALARM CLOCK, BE THE ONLY REASON YOU WAKE UP AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERBS – ASTRAGALUS.
Hello Followers,
Since its Tuesday, today would be a great time to practice having an open mind.
It is important for your growth.
Just because you’re right about something doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to look at it.
Listening to ideas you don’t agree with or understand keeps your brain active and healthy.
You’ll continue to learn as long as you stay open to difficult conversations.
Don’t assume you know everything about another person, as they always have more to teach you.
JULY – 12th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about July that’s so significant during this month?
National Simplicity Day – July 12, 2022
It’s time to get back to basics and celebrate National Simplicity Day on July 12!
The holiday falls on this date every year to honor the birthday of Henry David Thoreau, who was born on this day in 1817.
So read on for some modern-day tips on how to celebrate National Simplicity Day.
As Thoreau himself said: “As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.”
“Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities,” on National Simplicity Day on July 12.
Henry David Thoreau was a jack-of-all-trades; an author, an environmentalist, an abolitionist, a poet.
But you probably mainly remember him from your high school English class as a transcendentalist.
He and his contemporary transcendentalists believed, in simple terms, see what we did there?
Thus, people have knowledge about themselves that ‘transcends’ all the external forces in their lives.
They advocated for living a simpler life to better get in touch with those feelings.
Now, we’re not telling you to abandon your life and go live in the woods for a few years, but we love the idea of taking a day to evaluate your life and find out what elements of it are simply the most important to you.
National Simplicity Day was created to unshackle people from the complications and hustle and bustle of daily life.
As much as technology has made our lives easier for us, it has also consumed us and created competition in all spheres of life; comparing lifestyles, increasing the desire for accumulating more things, and the idea that everyone should be living an extravagant life.
A simple life hardly gets the spotlight on social media.
This is why National Simplicity Day emphasizes the importance of directing our focus internally and doing away with the unnecessary clutter in our lives.
It is a chance to re-evaluate our needs and understand that “less is more.”
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
JUST BECAUSE IT DIDN’T LAST FOREVER, DOESN’T MEAN IT WASN’T WORTH YOUR WHILE.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP
WHEN YOU NEED OUTSIDE HELP-
Difficult people may appear to know what they want, not care what you think and be intent on doing their own thing without regard to others.
But as their relationships twist and the challenges of life throw obstacles into their course, often they begin to seek help.
If you are coping with a difficult person, you need support too.
Join a church, recreation/exercise center, a club, or a service group to be with others.
Until tomorrow-
Continuing on the herb; ASTRAGALUS and the benefits, It’s the last herb from the book ALCHEMY OF HERBS by Rosalee De La Foret.
Astragalus has such a mildly sweet flavor.
Astragalus provides supplemental therapy for chronic asthma.
Astragalus has been used to treat chronic asthma and determined to be a successful supplemental therapy and asthma natural remedy.
After being treated, hypersensitivity in airways decreased substantially and mucus production and inflammation were reduced in studies.
By preventing or reducing asthma attacks, individuals could be relieved of chronic asthma issues.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
