The great solution to all human problems is individual inner transformation.
STARTING THE NEW YEAR OFF ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB - LEMON BALM AND 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.
Hello Followers,
I forgot to welcome you to January!
So, before I start; Dan and I wish you an incredible January.
As I woke up yesterday morning, Dan came in the room excited.
It’s SNOWING outside!
Wow, it was the first Monday of 2022 and the first snow fall of the year.
So, this month is a great start to engage in a positive change.
You ask how can one possibly effect positive change without setting a goal or resolving to do better?
The answer is simple!
When you discover how to live in the moment, your life transforms as a natural byproduct and things that you have been struggling to change simply dissolve.
Here is how it works.
There are three basic principles of acting without any perceptible transformation.
The first principle is; anything you resist persists and grows stronger.
Chances are, those things that you want to change or fix about yourself have persisted, no matter how many times you have resolved to change them.
The second principle is; no two things can occupy the same space at the same time.
For example, if you are sitting while you are reading this post, you will discover that you could only be sitting right now.
We all have been taught that we can improve our lives.
But in this very moment of now, you can only be exactly as you are.
Striving to attain an idea or an ideal is simpler to saying the way you are is imperfect or flawed.
You may have the idea that you can be different, but in reality, in this moment, you are the way you are.
If someone was to take a photograph of you, the moment the picture was taken, you could only have been the way the camera captured you in that moment.
You can’t change the way you were.
Life shows up in a series of moments of now and in this moment of now you can only be exactly the way you are and that is the second principle.
The third principle is; when you allow yourself to be the way you are, and notice how you are being without judging yourself, a phenomenon takes place called completion.
If you notice the way you behave without trying to change or fix yourself and without judging what you discover, those behaviors that you have been trying to change or ways of being that you have been putting up with will complete themselves, just with awareness.
But you can’t notice it to get rid of it, because that throws you back into the first principle; anything you resist persists and grows stronger.
You can think of awareness like taking a block of ice and letting it sit in the sun.
The radiant heat of simple awareness is enough to melt old, frozen mechanical behaviors.
Time is free, but it’s priceless.
You can’t own it, but you can use it.
You can’t keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.
Time is taken for granted, but after it is gone; all we have left
are the memories.
So, I put together 365 inspirational sayings; this way we can
stop for a second and pause.
This was inspired by giving as Christmas gifts to our loved ones.
Each day Dan and I will also shake and pull out of our box and share with you all.
Today is:
WHEN YOU ARE JOYFUL, WHEN YOU SAY YES TO LIFE AND HAVE FUN PROJECT POSTIVITY ALL AROUND YOU, YOU BECOME A SUN IN THE CENTER OF EVERY CONSTELLATION, AND PEOPLE WANT TO BE NEAR YOU.
101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.
Continuing from last year!
Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.
That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.
CHAPTER 2; HAPPILY, PEACEFUL
EMBRACE CHANGE
Life is an inner play between two types of changes; the ones we seek and the ones that just happen.
Deliberate change powers us on the road to fulfilment, unless we’re lucky and find ourselves coasting downhill.
It’s a matter of knowing what you want, spotting the opportunities and following them.
Change in our lives, as we tread this path; is a sign we’re making a difference.
Casting off the worst of the familiar to make room for the new.
THEY MUST OFTEN CHANGE, WHO WOULD BE CONSTANT IN HAPPINESS OR WISDOM.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 11; MAKE ANGER YOUR ALLY
TO TURN ANGER INTO AN ALLY, PARTNER WITH IT.
Continue on TAKE CONTROL
Today’s post will be on some things that your difficult person may be doing that makes it a challenge for you to control your anger.
Here are some things your difficult person may be doing:
1. Using unfair tactics.
2. Trying to justify wrongs.
3. Making choices that affect you or those you care about without any input from you.
4. Twisting your words.
5. Not trying to change problem behavior.
6. Not listening.
7. Avoiding compromise or negotiation.
8. Feeling the end justifies the means.
Continue tomorrow –
Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
CHECK THIS RECIPE OUT: LEMON BALM WATER
This is a simple way to lightly flavor your water and make a delicious and refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
This is also great for traveling.
If using fresh lemon balm, slightly crush the lemon balm sprig between your palms to release its aromatic properties.
Ingredients:
1 sprig fresh lemon balm (approximately 10 leaves) or 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
1 thin slice of lemon
2 thin slices of cucumber
Instruction:
1. Place the fresh or dried lemon balm, lemon slice and cucumber slices in a 1-quart jar.
2. Fill the jar with 4 cups of lukewarm water and let sit for 2 to 4 hours so the flavors can infuse. (Dan and I use a Kangan water system). If you’ve used dried lemon balm, you may want to strain this to avoid drinking the tiny leaves or use a straw with a strainer.
3. Drink within 24 hours, as is or iced.
Tomorrow’s herb, ROSE -
As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
