THE GREATEST GIFT THAT YOU CAN GIVE TO OTHERS IS THE GIFT OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE.

CONTINUING ON THE SERIES OF LOVE AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FROM LAST WEEK. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello followers,

It’s Friday! I don’t care if Monday’s blue, Tuesday’s gray and Wednesday too. Thursday, I don’t care about you. It’s Friday I’m in love. Time to go make stories for Monday.

Dan and I will be on the move again, going to Explore Park today. You know me, pictures will be coming. Both Dan and I love to be in nature, surrounding ourselves with little creatures, creeks, trees and flowers. So far, we have not run into snakes, bears or any big animals. Don’t get me wrong, we are not looking for that kind of adventure.

Yes, LOVE has a lot to do with a healthy body. This four-letter word can do so much for you. Unconditional love is a sort of unrequited love that does not require material or immaterial support to keep harping the love lines.

There is no consensus-built unconditional love definition; nonetheless, unconditional love is love without interest to put it straight. There are a variety of instances that are spread around us; parents, children, mates, friends, siblings, spouses some depict sort of unconditional love instances. Hence, this is the unconditional love that solidifies the faith in love. Otherwise, the conditionality might not even qualify for love alone, it is a kind of hard calculation.

Unconditional love spans many genres of life. There is not a single space that is uncovered under this soothing sensation.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

LOVE

There are two things you should never be afraid of when resolving a disagreement with someone you love telling them when you think they’re wrong and admitting to them when you believe they’re right.

Neither will be easy to do at first, but both will ultimately build greater trust between you and a deeper love and respect.

Some people think if they always assume the best in people and their intentions, that’s being positive, but it’s really not.

Now, it’s not good to assume the worse; either.

Just don’t assume anything. Ask – Observe – Ask again – Observe again.

AGAIN

AGAIN

If you assume only the best, you will eventually be disappointed when you realize people are not who they never were.

If you ask and observe, you can truly get to know them and choose to accept them as they are; with no false pedestals and no expectations of perfection.

That’s being positive, in fact – that’s LOVE.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

Today Dan and I will be continuing to post CHAPTER THREE – WHO IS SCREWED UP?

When relationships are a mess, we may hesitate to call another person screwed up. After all, don’t we all have flaws?

When we observe people, we find that they are rarely off-the-wall in every relationship, nor overbearing in all areas.

In fact, a person may be adored by most people in their world, but in one or a few key relationships, they are definitely a problem.

For our purpose we can say that someone is screwed up in a relationship in which they continuously cause havoc; by choices, actions, and responses that are in appropriate, manipulative, mean, abusive, and so on.

Screwed-up people aren’t crazy. They are normal people who constantly spin off bad choices, actions, and responses that cause the other person to feel used, abused, controlled, unappreciated, challenged, depressed, incapable, hopeless or angry.

In other words, they cause internal hurricanes.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Continuing on the health benefits on PEPPERMINT. You might be surprised!

What! Are you ready for another simple recipe; PEPPERMINT AND HIBISCUS COOLER.

This cooler is great on a hot summer day. It’s been really hot here in Roanoke, VA.

The cooling aromatics of peppermint and the slightly sour, tangy hibiscus will quench your thirst.

Ingredients:

20 grams minced fresh peppermint or ¼ cup dried peppermint

1 heaping tablespoon dried hibiscus

1 sprig of fresh lavender or a pinch of dried lavender flowers

1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

1. Bring 1 ½ quarts of water to a boil.

2. Place the peppermint, hibiscus, and lavender in a jar at least 2 quarts in size.

3. Pour the boiling water over the herbs, then stir.

4. Let this steep for 10 to 15 minutes, covered.

5. Strain into a large glass pitcher that gives you plenty of extra room to add ice later.

6. While still warm, add the honey.

7. Stir until it is fully combined with the tea.

8. Let cool on the counter or in the refrigerator.

9. About 10 – 20 minutes before serving, add ice to the top of the pitcher.

10. ENJOY

Tomorrow, Dan and I will be moving on to the herb; ROSEMARY.

Simple Qigong Meditation with Jeffrey Chand

Here is a simple qigong meditation practice!

There are many types of meditation to be experienced these days. Not too long-ago meditation was considered to be very alternative and "esoteric" but today meditation is widely accepted medically, and socially. There are many different types of meditation and they are all useful. It is similar to using tools from a toolbox - at times you'll need a hammer, and at other times you may need a paintbrush.

Meditation is the practice of simply bringing all your thoughts down to one. This one thought can be a short phrase, focus on the breath, relaxing part of your body, or it can even be intense focus on cooking, cleaning, or playing sports. Really, anything can be used as meditation as long as it brings many thoughts down to one.

Some forms of meditations, such as transcendental meditation or TM, seek "personal development" and other forms, such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction MBSR, intends to lower stress, and anxiety. There is not just one form of Qigong meditation, there are many.

No matter what your needs are, qigong meditation can definitely help.

In this video we practice a very simple qigong meditation that is helpful for:

reducing stress, anxiety, depression

increasing energy, focus and concentration

and helping you feel "present" in your body

This qigong meditation is great for everyone to practice anytime of the day. If you have seen other qigong videos, you'll know that I focus on simplicity, because I believe and have observed that simple works best!

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

THAT IS LOVE 💖

Until Saturday, when someone else’s happiness is your happiness, that is love. Once you learn to accept and love them for who they are, you subconsciously learn to love yourself unconditionally.
