The Key to Peace: Let Go of What Should Be and Accept What Is.
Hello Followers,
HAPPY WEEKEND and the last Saturday of the year!
Do you have expectations?
Dan and I have learned that to stay healthy it is important to let things go that are not under our control.
To find peace and contentment, it is important to let go of expectations.
Have you ever realized you were making expectations of others or yourself?
Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.
Recognizing this, we decided to change our belief.
When Dan and I allow ourselves to fully feel the present moment, no matter what it may encompass, and accept ourselves just the way we are now, we begin to feel peace coming back to us.
We could choose to think about all the things we wish were different, but all that does is make us unhappy, and it certainly does not facilitate the clarity of mind and heart required for changing any of those things.
Often, all we need is a small shift in perspective to realize that challenges are opportunities and our greatest teachers.
Be present now and experience the complete spectrum of the human experience as it unfolds.
Feel the great fullness of this life.
All is as it should be, and you are perfect just the way you are.
Sit with your pain.
Sit with your joy.
They both serve you.
Learn from the past.
Plan for the future.
But live only in the present.
Do this and you will remove the barriers to clarity and peace of mind.
As the great Alan Watts beautifully put it, “The future is of use only to those who live in the present.”
So, we could all use some inspiration to make changes, though, which is where Dan and I welcome you to go to our YouTube site to enjoy and bring uplifting vibes to your day.
These uplifting videos hold a significant place in our lives.
They offer a glimpse into the wisdom of our experiences.

Letting Go of Expectations and Embracing Impermanence teaches individuals to find peace and contentment by letting go of expectations and embracing the impermanent nature of life.
Zen wisdom teaches that suffering often arises from our attachment to expectations, desires, and a need for control.
By embracing impermanence, we can let go of these attachments and find a greater sense of peace and contentment.
This teaching encourages individuals to cultivate mindfulness and awareness, and to practice non-attachment to outcomes and experiences.
Through these practices, individuals can learn to navigate the ups and downs of life with greater ease, finding inner peace and resilience amidst the inevitable changes and challenges of life.
By learning to embrace impermanence and let go of expectations, individuals can experience greater freedom, joy, and fulfillment in their lives.
Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

SET INTENTIONS WITHOUT EXPECTATION.
Expectations create disappointment when they are not met.
It is difficult to see past an expectation when we hold it tight in our hearts and minds.
To find peace and contentment, it is important to let go of expectations.
We can strive to live with intention, but if we have expectations about our intention, we may set ourselves up to great disappointments.
Give up the desire to have things a certain way and allow things to unfold.
PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.
Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.
It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.
For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.
Letting go is not just about releasing attachments to material possessions or past relationships, it is also a spiritual practice that involves surrendering to the flow of life and trusting in a higher power.
It requires us to release our fears, doubts, and worries, and have faith that everything is happening for a divine reason.
Letting go allows us to connect with our true selves and the universe, and to live in a state of peace, love, and harmony.
May we all have the courage to let go of what no longer serves us and trust in the infinite wisdom of the universe.
This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words walk, meditation, and Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Sunday, peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is,
rather than as you think it should be.
