The mind is what it thinks. To make it true, think true.
CONTINUING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Hello Followers,
Yesterday, in the morning while I was editing and posting this blog, a thought crossed my mind; what if today we quit early and play hooky.
So, be it; we did and went to our favorite taco place to pick up some gluten free taco’s and headed to the park for a picnic.
Afterwards, like most every day Dan and I walked; but this time we decided to go in another direction. Much like our lives, sometimes our plans take us in other directions.
This afternoon our direction changed and we were set out for an adventure.
This is where our thoughts trigger emotions!
Thoughts trigger emotions, and the vibrational frequency of these emotions then feed back into the original thought.
And as we continue to give mental attention to the initial though, it reaffirms the emotion, which then energizes the thought.
And so, we experience a continuous cycle of think, feel, think, feel, think, feel.
This results in the emotional state you come to experience; stressed, depressed, discouraged, happy, energized, confident.
How you think and how you feel directly impact how your body reacts, and all three influence how you behave and what actions you take.
This is how your thoughts create your reality.
It’s in the way you behave and act that you define who you are and what you experience in life plus the way you behave and act is simply a construction of how you think, feel, and do.
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.
It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.
WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?
Middle Eastern note; the Arabs have always insisted you eat with your right hand.
This taboo isn’t really directed against left-handers, but stems solely from certain social problems that arise where water is scarce.
Some time back in history, they decided that the left hand should be reserved for certain hygienic purposes; the intensely personal nature of which made that hand particularly unsuitable for the communal dinner pot.
To show their impartiality, Arabs write left-handedly.
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
THOUGHTS AND WORDS
Energy and time are limited life resources.
Be conscious of where you spend them so there will be more than enough of both for the things and people most important to you.
Physical beauty is only skin-deep but the beauty of the soul is infinite.
Those who order up a big plate of dishonesty will find that it comes with a side of regret.
No substitutions.
In the end, you’ll never regret not doing the wrong thing.
You will always be glad you did the right thing, maybe not sooner but definitely later on.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
THROUGH PICTURES
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
WITH PICTURES
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."
25 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW
So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.
This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.
FINDING OUTSIDE SUPPORT.
Seeking fulfillment outside the relationship is sometimes the only way you can survive with a screwed-up person.
Be sure that the outside support comes from a healthy source.
For example, escaping through drugs or alcohol is not a healthy option.
The list of healthy possibilities for finding fulfillment is as varied as the individual who needs it.
Consider these options:
Ø Get involved in a new hobby.
Ø Enroll in a course.
Ø Do volunteer work.
Ø Start an exercise program.
Ø Schedule a time for your favorite form of relaxation; reading, walking in the park, visiting a museum, going to a movie.
Ø Plan special times; trips, dinner, parties, holiday celebrations.
Ø Give a helping hand to someone in need.
Ø Make an effort to get to know your neighbors.
Ø Develop new friendships.
Ø Express thanks to others through phone calls and notes.
Tomorrow THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WORDS VICTOR AND VICTIM.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?
Here a recipe for FRIED SAGE LEAVES, yes you heard it right!
Fried sage leaves are crisp and delicious.
They make a simple garnish that adds a unique taste to meals and cheese plates.
Ingredients:
2 to 4 table spoons of olive oil
20 whole fresh sage leaves
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a small frying pan on medium heat.
2. Submerge the sage leaves.
3. To determine if the oil is hot enough, drop a small leaf into the oil. If it sizzles – its ready.
4. To fry the leaves simply drop them in the oil for about 20 to 30 seconds and then, using a fork flip over for another 15 seconds or so.
5. Once fried, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
6. Eat when cool.
Tomorrow how about SAGE LEMON TEA!
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Today we were able to finish up editing and posting the blog earlier than most days👩💻.
So, I talked Dan into going to our favorite 🌮 taco place and headed to the park 🏞️ for a picnic 🧺.
After, walking! Instead of heading in the direction that we normally go, we went the opposite.
Not knowing where we would end up, that didn't stop us 🛑 We love adventure.
Check out my findings.
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation
Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.
Guided Meditation to Choose Your Path/ Habit Change / Mindful Movement
Today, give yourself permission to stop looking in the rear-view mirror and approach life with a new way of seeing things.
You have the choice to set a new course, to carve a new path ahead.
Today you are here, and I am inviting you to approach this moment with a forward-from-here attitude.
With this meditation, I invite you to deepen your practice of shaping this moment to lead you on the path which you desire.
We hope you enjoy!

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
THINK 🤔 TRUE
The mind is what it thinks. To make it true, think true.
Until Sunday, how you think when you lose determines how long it will be until you win.
