STARTING A NEW SERIES OF APPRECIATION AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FROM LAST WEEK. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
HELLO FOLLOWERS,
I wake up this Thursday morning with less stress, for yesterday I went to the doctor for a yearly routine visit and to go over my lab work. I received good news that I’m A+ okay. This is less off my shoulders, for if you have been following my journey; ten years ago, I found out I had breast cancer.
I opt out of doing it the conventional way. However, I did do it the functional way; which was finding out the root cause and living a different lifestyle.
I’m grateful for all of you that have been following along with my posts and my doctors that educated me, my family and friends, my husband, my daughter and her family; this new series goes out to you.
Gratitude and thankfulness can powerfully change your life. In fact, it’s surprising how such a simple gratefulness exercise can bring about so much positive change to your life.
By learning to appreciate all the wonders of your life, you can finally break free from the never-ending rat race of always wanting more. Gratitude helps you to shift your focus from all the things you do not have, to that which you’ve already accomplished. By doing so, it helps you to continuously remind yourself how precious and worthwhile your life already is.
If you’ve ever made an effort to continuously give thanks for the precious gifts in your life, you will know how powerful thankfulness can be. Even more so, the numerous benefits associated with gratefulness can truly rich your entire existence. One particularly helpful aspect of gratitude is that it helps you to spend less time continuously trying to pursue ever more. Even more so, once you learn to fully appreciate what you already have, you become a lot more content with your life in general.
More to come, Stay tune.
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
APPRECIATION
When people or pets that we love are in our life, we see them as healthy and here because that is what they are in the moment. Yet at some point, they will not be in our lives. They may choose to leave, or they may pass away.
If you were given a list of how long you had left in each relationship, would you appreciate more the ones you would have for the shortest amounts of time?
We do not know how much time we have. All we are guaranteed is this moment. Make sure everyone who is important to you knows it every single day.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

So, when you are feeling pressure, ask yourself these questions?
v Am I complying because I feel family pressure to do what they think is right, not what I want for my life?
v Am I complying because I feel this is the best option for my long-term good and for those for whom I am responsible?
v Is this best, even though it may not feel good now?
v Am I complying because I feel I have no choice?
v Am I doing something I feel is wrong morally, ethically, or legally?
The answers will guide you in either moving on with your commitment or stopping to analyze your situation further.
When the pressure is on, you are not necessarily lost, you just don’t know which way to go.
Tomorrow I will start posting on How we can handle the pressure?
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Continuing on the health benefits on PEPPERMINT. You might be surprised!
This is for the young ladies; peppermint treats menstrual cramps. Peppermint is always a great source to help ease constricting muscles, especially the muscles in the uterine wall. Drinking one cup of peppermint tea twice or three times a day leading up to and during menstruation can soothe cramps.
The tea guru highly recommends turning to peppermint tea for ailments rather than peppermint oil. “Peppermint oil is incredibly concentrated and is more like a drug than a natural remedy.
Many people who use natural remedies avoid antibiotics, but internal use of peppermint oil is antibacterial; which is exactly what many people want to avoid when they consider their gut health. These essential oils can also ease menstrual cramps.
Tomorrow I’ll post more peppermint benefits.
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
Well today was an annual checkup for Sherry. Great news everything is in its right place.
No adjusting and don't have to see the doctor for a year. So, off to a park we have never been before for a walk. Lots of 🦆 ducks. Then to our city library where was another trail we explored.
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Until Friday, let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. And when you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love – then make that day count!
Dan and I highly recommend the books that I have been blogging, for they are uplifting or knowledgeable in keeping healthy.
