The starting point of all achievement is desire.

THIS WEEK STARTING ON A NEW SERIES, DESIRE WITHIN AND FINISHING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Countdown to some cooler weather, Autumn arrives in 23 days.

Happy Hump Day and last day of August.

Tomorrow starts September and you know what that means.

Yes, cooler weather.

When starting the new series of desire within, a question popped up.

What is the point of life?

This is the question to answer all questions.

And of course, answering it isn’t as straightforward as any of us hope.

People feel that there should be an X on the map of life that will tell them where to go and how to get there.

But things just aren’t that simple.

This is where desire within comes in!

Answers to this important question can be found in everything from science to religion.

To our internal and external reality

To logic and the unknown.

Where you ultimately find your unique answer depends greatly on where you come from.

What your goals are.

How you see reality.

And what you really want.

This is where desire within comes in!

AUGUST – 31th last day of the month, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?

NATIONAL EAT OUTSIDE DAY | AUGUST 31

Friends, fresh air, and good food are the focus of National Eat Outside Day every year on August 31.

Whether at home, a park, a favorite restaurant or food truck, or the beach, food just tastes better when we eat it under the open sky.

Never mind, it is very healthy being among the trees and fresh air.

Many foods lend themselves to eating outdoors but sometimes it’s as simple as taking your prepared plate out to the balcony, porch, or patio.

Also known as al fresco dining, many restaurants offer patio seating so their patrons can enjoy their meals while taking in the city, beach, countryside or just people watch.

Even more temperate climates offer seasonal outdoor dining.

Eat Outside Day encourages you to taste the sunshine (or the moonlight) while eating your meal.

It’s like a mini stay-cation where you get to recharge while enjoying a delicious feast outdoors.

HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL EAT OUTSIDE DAY

National Eat Outside Day offers limitless possibilities to celebrate!

Try these ideas:

Host an outdoor brunch or just take your bacon and eggs outside to enjoy.

Take your sack lunch outside to eat during your break.

Pack a picnic basket and head to the park.

Visit your favorite restaurant and sit on the patio this time.

Invite friends over for a BBQ.

Take a dinner river cruise.

Pack some sandwiches and trail mix and go for a hike.

Stay up late, pop some popcorn, make cheese and crackers or grab the leftovers.

Spread a blanket under the stars and look for constellations while snacking.

Organize an outdoor potluck.

Host your book club outdoors with all your favorite foods and beverages.

Go camping.

You’re nearly guaranteed to eat outdoors when you’re in the Great Outdoors.

Take a cue from your garden.

Wash off those ripening vegetables and fruits with a spritz from the hose and savor your bounty.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

THE ULTIMATE LESSON ALL OF US HAVE TO LEARN IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, WHICH INCLUDES NOT ONLY OTHERS BUT OURSELVES AS WELL.

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes,

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY

SIGHT COLOR IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT-

EYE-CARE EXERCISE-

The eye itself is made up of a series of intricately connected muscles.

These are constantly contracting and expanding, allowing light in or reducing glare so that you are comfortable.

And turning so that your eye can move to enable you to see from side to side or up and down.

Like any muscles in the body, these need exercise to keep them healthy.

Most of the time we are looking ahead and rarely use the eye muscles to their full capacity,

Continue tomorrow-

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to the findings that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the different ways through body, heart and soul.

Its all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

In chronic disease, the treatment, first, last and all the time, must be with a view of getting rid of the toxemia.

This consists of correcting whatever habits of life are producing enervation, and then gradually building up a normal digestion, assimilation and elimination.

It took a long time to evolve out of the one conventional idea of many diseases into the truth that there is but ONE disease, and that the four hundred catalogued so-called diseases are but different manifestations of Toxemia; blood and tissue uncleanliness.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

THE STARTING POINT

Until Thursday, a creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve;

not by the desire to beat others.
