CONTINUING THE SERIES OF QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

Hello followers,

Wow – where has the week gone, it’s Thursday already! Yesterday slipped right by for I was looking for pictures and went through over 60 years of memories and photos.

I realize how unorganized they were, but in these photographs was Dan and my life, our daughters, friends and our relatives here and gone. I must have gone through ten thousand photographs!

A Photograph means so many things to so many different people. Google defines photography as "the art or practice of taking and processing photographs." However, it is so much more than that.

One thing they did get right is that it is an art. Real life artists devote their lives to capturing moments on film that you never would have imagined doing yourself.

Yet, average people, like me spend their life capturing the moments they live on film. For some, a photograph is a way to express yourself in ways you otherwise could not. When I go back through my pictures it tells a story of each place I have traveled, person I met, and loved one I have touched. I have photographs of ancestors, both Dan and mine.

Some people have the ability to use their words to express their thoughts and emotions at any point in time. Others use music, sports, other forms of art, or whatever you may think of. I take pictures to remember my thoughts and emotions. Yesterday as I was going through the pictures,

I found myself looking at a story of not just my life, but the journey of others too. So, when I take a picture and share on any of my social medias, website, and this blog; I’m telling a story and including you in it.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THERE ARE 12 LAWS OF KARMA

Law one is the greatest law. As you sow, so shall you reap. You have complete control over all your actions and absolutely no control over many of the consequences. Eventually, however; all your good actions will lead to good consequences.

As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of QUOTES ABOUT LIVING, 11-1-11; REACH FOR THE STARS.

We all have wondered from time to time if one can reach for the stars. I believe we can if we put our whole body, soul, and mind together and stretch out for the unthinkable. I am doing this, with the help of my doctors. As a unit, we worked with functional medicine to heal my body to make it strong again. I chose another route to manage my cancer without surgery or chemicals and found it can be done. All it took was a little hard work and knowledge about how to take care of myself.

Our immune system is a very important part of this function along with our food choices.

We were made the same, and our physical structures all function similarly. We just need to put the puzzle together the same way through learning, and to keep an open mind to what is available to us. I have and wish to share my experiences, and trust that everyone will do the research before making a decision that would cost your life. Continue the hope and reach higher – the sky is the limit. Take a leap of faith and explore the possibility that there is more we can do to manage cancer. BECAUSE THERE IS!

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer.

By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress). So, by now you know this is always in our routine for healing and keeping our body cells happy.

Thinking back, Dan and I were taught everybody is unique an should be treated individually.

Through blood work and scans, I was given a plan of treatments. Per Dr. Perez and Dr. Garcia, that was the start; the rest was up to me. For you see, keeping healthy is a lifestyle and that would be up to me. I remember this one moment, a conversation with Dr. Perez; I asked him if I would be around in five years. He, replied it was up to me and how I live my life. Through their love and passion, I’m sharing through this blog our process of keeping healthy – it’s like a journal of our personal journey keeping healthy. Leading to why I ask you, did you do your walking?

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!! Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

SMOKE AND MIRRORS

With the daily bombardment of perfectly styled kitchen, lounges, breakfasts and beach bodies; its easy to look at our own seemingly sagging, cluttered offerings and feel inadequate. However, its important to remember that more often than not these images have been manipulated.

That perfect shot of a new outfit will have taken hours of styling and a few good do-overs to get the picture just right, even if it does look like it’s been snapped on the spur of the moment.

Don’t forget; for every clutter-free breakfast table, there’s a huge mound of tea-stained mugs, half-read magazines, cold toast and dying pot plants just out of the shot. It’s very rare that Instagrammers will reveal the truth about their lives, preferring to present the glossy surface over the duller reality. After all, everyone has their own ordinary and these influencers need to stand out from the crowd to attract advertisers and make money. So, don’t despair if you’ve got a sink full of dirty dishes, you can be sure most people have too. Everyone’s human after all!

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Are you ready for another recipe using MUSTARD? Tomorrow I’ll post a recipe using mustard and ginger for bath salts, STAY TUNE!!

JOURNEY OF PEACE

The Spiritual Journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love. -Marianne Williamson Journey to Peace #spiritual #journey #unlearning #fear #acceptance #love #peace #inspirational #motivational

Until Friday, A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense and is thereby a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. And no, you don’t shoot things. You capture them. Photography means painting with light. And that’s what you do. You paint a picture only by adding light to the things you see. So, next time you take a picture capture the expression of your life.
