There is a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they are free. Do not miss so many of them.
Hello followers,
Welcome to Thursday!
Few things in life are more glorious than the first hint of the morning sun breaking through the horizon.
I remember as a child, every weekday morning my father would come into the room and open the curtains and say RISE AND SHINE.
As golden yellow, orange, and red light up the room, the rising sun was a reminder that each morning was the start of a new beginning.
It was a new chance to make a change.
Another opportunity to embrace the day with open arms and set out on a new journey.
As a child, it had no meaning until I grew up and he was not around to open the curtains and say RISE AND SHINE.
So, I say for those late sleepers out there, getting up early is necessary when it comes to experiencing the splendor of a sunrise.
As difficult as it may be to leave behind the cozy comfort of your bed and blankets, catching a sunrise every now and then does wonders for starting off your day with a cheerful outlook.
It is a glorious feeling to witness the magnificence of the dawn of a new day as you realize just how small your corner of the world is.
Check out some of our experiences on the page How Safe Is Mexico -
In capturing Mexico, I realized that all the warnings from the USA to go to Mexico was not true.
Mexico, just like the United States has different climates and as well crime in different places.
So, when they stated that Mexico was unsafe, that was not all true.
We live in a world that has good and evil; you just must know what areas are good.
Just like when we decided to move back to the states, Virginia; Roanoke area suited our needs and is right at the entrance of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The past three years, I have been posting areas that Dan and I have visited and thought how many of us know just what took place back during the Civil War.
Dan and I have decided to dedicate the rest of this year with our experiences and knowledge of the Civil War, through museums and to the countryside where many soldiers died to give us freedom in America.
Let us not ever forget what took place and why it happened in the first place.
And I welcome you to visit Mexico, the Guadalajara area, and Virginia if you have not yet done so.
Both places have so much history that date way, way back.
Continuing with a town near where Dan and I live, Salem.
So, now we begin the history of the 1800’s.
Starting October 15, James Simpson purchased thirty-one acres from William Lewis for one hundred dollars.
This is truly the beginning of the town Salem.
And June 4, 1802, James Simpson sold Susanna Cole a lot on Main Street at Cherry Alley for twenty dollars.
This was the first real estate transaction of the town.
The people of the area admired Cole because she had been taken captive by Native Americans and, seven years later made her way back to Salem after escaping.
Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.
May 25th
RISE LIKE THE SUN; awaken each part of your body gently, intentionally, and slowly.
Feel your breath fill your lungs, sending oxygen to your extremities.
Let your senses come alive, sending energetic vibrations throughout your body.
Take in the sights and sounds of the morning with deep awareness.
Take your time as you move through your morning.
Greet the day from a place of gentleness as you gradually develop a routine.
PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.
Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.
It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.
For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.
This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Friday, every sunrise is like a new page, a chance to receive each day in all its glory.
Each day is a wonder.
