CONTINUING THE SERIES ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.
Hello Followers,
How was your Monday?
Did you make any new milestones?
As Dan and I get older, we feel when we overcome a challenge; this means we met a milestone.
And you know these days, there are plenty of challenges.
Yes, we live for these challenges!
Let’s continue with exploring the 9th experience that we all experience and that is, learning to drive.
Most if not all of us, has experienced this milestone.
I remember that when I was 16, I got my learners permit and took a driving class.
For many teenagers, learning how to drive and passing the driving exam is the first step towards adult independence.
Once you have your driver’s license, you often feel a sense of freedom that you never had before.
For that reason, most people remember studying for their driving exam, the moment they passed the exam, or where they went after they had their license to drive.
Do you remember!

You’ll be pleased you did it tomorrow.

Chapter 16; IS DIFFERENT SCREWED UP?
Today, REALITY CHECK FIVE; KNOW WHERE RESPONSIBILITY ENDS-
Many difficult people enter adulthood with tremendous emotional deficits and unmet needs.
Emotionally they are still children; hungry, needy and afraid.
These people have low self-esteem and do whatever is necessary to protect themselves from being hurt again.
Either they become overbearing, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
Or they are victims who constantly cry for help or they are rebels, rejecting anything that others want to do for them.
Continue tomorrow-
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?
Ashwagandha helps reduce stress and anxiety!
Ashwagandha is perhaps best known for its ability to reduce stress.
It’s classified as an adaptogen, a substance that helps the body cope with
Ashwagandha appears to help control mediators of stress, including heat shock proteins (Hsp70), cortisol, and stress-activated c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK-1).
It also reduces the activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, a system in your body that regulates the stress response.
Several studies have shown that ashwagandha supplements help relieve stress and
In a small study with 58 participants, those who took 250 or 600 mg of ashwagandha extract for 8 weeks had significantly reduced perceived stress and levels of the stress hormone cortisol compared with those who took a placebo.
What’s more, the participants who took the ashwagandha supplements experienced significant improvements in sleep quality compared with the placebo group.
Another study in 60 people found that those who took 240 mg of ashwagandha extract per day for 60 days had significant reductions in anxiety compared with those who received a placebo treatment.
Thus, early research suggests ashwagandha is a helpful supplement for stress and anxiety.
Ashwagandha is effective for reducing stress and anxiety symptoms.
However, more research is needed to form a consensus on appropriate forms and dosing to address stress and stress-related disorders.
