To become a champion requires a good mental attitude toward preparation.

Hello Followers,

THANK GOODNESS IT IS FRIDAY!

This whole week there has been something weighing on my mind that I heard last Sunday.

It is about how we are taught to set goals and go for victories and how the little milestones are left behind.

As children every little progress we praise.

For example, our first step, our first word, our first drawing and so on.

Why is it that when we grow up, we set goals; but never enjoy the little steps that lead up to the victory.

So, the other day I had a conversation with Dan, and I told him that we needed to do something to celebrate his job and the progress of this year’s leads and sales.

What can we do that does not cost a lot but can reward his victory.

How about a steak dinner!

Yes, a juicy grass-fed New York strip.

This led us to our Earth Fare, our food store.

That night we celebrated the little steps of Dans year’s job accomplishments.

We need more celebrations to reward ourselves through our life.

Because noticing your victories can have a profound effect on your mental health.

Dan and I know many of you say that sounds too easy.

Right!

But, when your brain is full of all the things you did not do, all your inadequacies, all you can not’s and should nots, noticing your victories begins the positive inner snowball needed for change to occur.

So, as we have been exploring words and how it effects our health, I welcome you to check out the past two weeks posts with words such as, time, faith, self-worth, happiness, encouragement, self-talk, optimism, karma, forgiveness, trust, appreciation, thoughts and words, power, rebuilding, passion, confidence, connection, transitioning, motivation, preparation, coping, laughter, empowerment, limitations, gratitude, circumstance, universe, humor, change, unknown, and freedom.

Today the word is victory.

Noticing the small victories that lead up to our dreams is important.

There is this practice that I just learned that I just love.

It is simple and practical.

It helps people notice and thus feel like they can manage their inner world with affirmation that they can.

It provides raw data facts proving they are getting better.

This practice can be done on your own.

You can note your victories with a loved one daily or weekly.

Praise and cheering from others are powerful and, in all honesty, most people feel good when they receive it as well as when they exchange it with others.

Noticing victories shifts our mental focus to gratitude.

This is done by mentally noticing your victories daily, making an actual victories list on paper or on your phone, noticing others' victories and sharing them, calling to share others' victories.

Most individuals everyday feel beat down by some symptom, whether it be anxiety, depression, obsessions, or compulsive behaviors.

After years of trying to manage symptoms unsuccessfully, a major wall builds inside of ourselves.

Most people feel they cannot accomplish actions that will help them or if they can, it would not be effective within themselves.

That is, one's emotional mind taking over.

The facts reveal that these victories add up and do influence mental health.

Having a reinforcement and others that notice that you can do it and that you are doing it, helps keep your momentum going so that you can move through that block of sludge within you.

That block is a friend of comfort.

Some call it an inner critic, others call it the truth.

Either way, it is a barrier that can be overcome.

So, let us start today, the path of reclaiming YOU one victory at a time!

Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

APRIL 28th

SLOW DOWN!

Do not allow yourself to fall into the trap of glorifying business.

Life is intended to be savored and this moment is the most important.

Move through your day consciously.

Notice the little things and expand your awareness.

Flowers bloom for only one season; children grow up fast; and the leaves change and eventually fall.

Savor what is in front of you and appreciate the moment you are in.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

Ask and You Shall Receive, Guided Meditation to Manifest Positive Outcomes

Ask and you shall receive an Original 10-minute guided meditation recorded by us, to manifest positive outcomes.

So often we get stuck in judgmental thoughts simply out of habit.

Relax your mind and your heart, as you feel both open up to new possibilities for loving solutions through a sense of childlike curiosity and wonder.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Saturday, without training, they lacked knowledge. Without knowledge, they lacked confidence. Without confidence, they lacked victory.
