Trust is built on telling the truth, not telling people what they want to hear.

NEW SERIES OF TRUST AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALSO CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello followers,

HAPPY TUESDAY! How was your long weekend? For Dan and I coming back from a road trip means going back to our daily routine.

However, you know me, I like to find something different to explore throughout the week.

May it be a new park to walk in or a new craft project. That’s what makes life exciting! Along with doing something different, I trust that Dan will go along with the change and that the choice we made turns out exciting and not disappointing.

Tuesday afternoon, I'm just beginning to see, now I'm on my way It doesn't matter to me, chasing the clouds away. Something, calls to me, The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why? Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh. I'm looking at myself reflections of my mind, It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind. So gently swaying through the fairyland of love, If you'll just come with me you'll see the beauty of Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday, afternoon, I'm just beginning to see, now I'm on my way. It doesn't matter to me, chasing the clouds away. Something, calls to me, The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why? Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh.

Trust is built slowly over time, but it can be lost in a moment. This can happen between spouses, friends, family members, even co-workers. When trust is violated or broken, the result is painful and depending on the circumstances, often embarrassing.

Broken trust in any relationship leads to hurt, anger, fear, and confusion. It can lead to lost opportunities. Trust is rebuilt slowly through our actions over time. God created us for relationships based on trust. In Genesis, the very first people we hear about, Adam and Eve, violated the trust that God placed in them. They didn’t do what they were asked to do even though they had been given everything they needed. Part of why some people have trouble trusting is that key people in their lives have not been trustworthy; they haven’t kept their word, honored their commitments, or proven reliable.

Broken trust can lead to stress and all kinds of unhealthy issues, which leads to disease.

Who is someone in your life that you trust? Why do you trust that person?

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

TRUST

An honest frown is worth more than a million phony smiles. Pretending to be happy in an attempt to not disappoint others will only leave everyone unhappy in the end. Expressing feelings honesty is the only way to resolve differences and create truly happy surroundings.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Tapalpa ~ MEXICO – FIVE YEARS AGO

Tapalpa is a designated Pueblo Mágico.

Tapalpa is a mountain town surrounded by pine forests. The area is famous for the "Piedras Bolas" large (20 feet high) rocks found just outside the town limits.

The area is a popular weekend destination for residents of nearby Guadalajara. There are many excellent outdoor restaurants that specialize in grilled meats.

Even with a flat tire, we had a fabulous time. No problem in the town getting a new tire.

Today, I’m continuing on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health good. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Continuing on CHAPTER ONE – PUT ON YOUR GLASSES.

Healthy relationships, when we understand why we enjoy one off-the-wall person but feel threatened by another, we will have turned a key that will help us. Respecting differences is crucial to getting along with people. You could share stories of people you cherish, even admire, who think, act, react, and choose differently than you.

Perhaps you seek advice from those who offer different slants. You laugh with people who are out to lunch and don’t have all their oars in the water. Like meals, people and relationships would be boring if they were all the same.

Objectivity in healthy relationship encourages each person to be responsible for one’s choices and actions and the consequences of them.

The foundation blocks of healthy relationships; respect, accepting personal responsibility for one’s behavior, allowing others to bear the consequences of their behavior, and caring without enabling.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

Continuing blogging on the herb - PARSLEY. Parsley can be used in many different ways to support almost every aspect of your health. Thank you for being patient, while I was blogging for almost two weeks on the benefits of parsley. Who would have known how important this herb that has not gotten much respect? Are you ready for a recipe using parsley – MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE SALAD DRESSING WITH PARSLEY!

Besides loving the taste, Dan and I think it’s a great way to enjoy the pungent flavors of the mustard, garlic and the blends of herbs. This is great on parsley salads, on salmon and with artichokes. Try using an herbal-infused apple cider vinegar.

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon mustard

1 teaspoon miso

1 garlic clove, smashed or minced

2 teaspoons dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions:

Mix all the ingredients together, stirring until blended.

Tomorrow I will start blogging on the herb – PEPPERMINT.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Yesterday Dan and I after a week on our adventure to Florida, finally got back to normal with our daily walk. Today was pretty hot 🔥 90F but still made it two miles.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation. Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.
