Trust is like an eraser; it gets smaller and smaller after every mistake.
NEW SERIES OF TRUST AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALSO CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Hello followers,
Here comes Thursday, Dan and I wish everyone a wonderful day. As I begin blogging today, by my side I have a hot cup of coffee.
It gives me strength and wakes up my brain. There are so many ways to upset one’s mind and body that causes illness. One can seek treatments, however; if we do not balance our ways, you are not going to get better. One subject that is thrown under the bus and one that does not count is -TRUST.
This word means more then just the four letters. As you been following this past week Dan and I have been posting this topic. There are signs that you can look for so that you can trust your partner.
Sometimes trust in relationships is a dicey thing. Even when we have burnt our fingers in the past, we tend to trust people repeatedly. Learning from our mistakes is a wise thing, and the first is open conversations.
If your partner keeps their conversations open and transparent. If there is a casual and comfortable feeling in their talk; while letting their guard down with you and shares their deepest secrets and fears, that’s a sure sign you can trust them. Reciprocate their feelings by letting them know that you trust them.
The second sign is admitting mistakes. Your partner may admit to their mistakes without any inhibitions. If they are honest about themselves and do not try to cover up with an explanation
Honesty can show in the situations where it can get uncomfortable. This is like answering the questions akin to “I have been gaining weight?”. Answering them honestly even with knowing that person might not like it.
Coming back from our road trip, for example; both Dan and I tried to eat healthy. We came back both in denial, but going out to eat with friends, we got off our program and both had gained some weight.
Third sign is a shared bank account. Sharing your expenses is one thing but sharing a bank account and being open about both finances is another. In the latter, they are transparent about their financial worth, and that they can do only if one trusts each other. This is a signal that you can trust them.
Fourth sign is you are their priority. You put your needs and interests before theirs and makes them feel comfortable. You make it a point to introduce your friends and colleagues and lets everyone know about your relationship.
Tomorrow I will continue with other signs that you can look for that you can trust your partner, you don’t have to learn from trusting mistakes!
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
TRUST
Someone else’s insecurity and mistrust are the roots of big-time drama. You can expect to spend a lot of time explaining, justifying, coddling, and walking on eggshells if you choose to be close to someone who struggles with those things.
With your best efforts and patience, you may be able to help them some, but only they can fix themselves. If it’s turning you into a nervous wreck, then even though you’d love to help, you may have to set that ideal down and take care of yourself by creating some distance. It just may be that distance becomes the signal to them that they need to change if they want to keep a great person around

Continuing on CHAPTER ONE – PUT ON YOUR GLASSES.
There is an exercise that can be done for people struggling in a skewed relationship. There are six questions that will jump-start your efforts to unscrew difficult relationship problems.
1. What emotional tornadoes does the difficult person in your life spin off?
2. How do you react to the screwed-up person in your life?
3. How does your difficult person react to your reactions?
4. If the other person is the problem, are you growing unhealthy actions and reactions in response to him or her?
5. Are you the screwed-up person driving others to reactive behavior?
6. How do others react to your actions and responses?
The goal is freedom, and freedom from any form of captivity requires commitment and hard work.
Stay tune, tomorrow I will be continuing on being willing to change.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Ever wonder at the tradition of complimentary mint at the end of a meal? Mint stimulates digestion and relieves nausea. It helps dispel that overfull feeling and possible indigestion or gas. So, the next herb that I will be blogging on is – yes, PEPPERMINT.
Peppermint is popular! Peppermint scientifically known as Mentha x Piperitais is a type of hybrid mint, bred through a combination of spearmint and water mint. It has a spicy refreshing flavor that makes it a popular ingredient in many different foods, candies, and desserts, among others.
The leaves of this plant are the primary parts that are used, due to the presence of the essential oil, which contains high levels of menthone, menthol, limonene, and various other acids, compounds, and antioxidants. While many people use the terms mint and peppermint interchangeably, mint may refer to different types of mint, whereas the latter is a specific variety.
The plant is native to Europe and the Middle East and is now considered invasive species in many other parts of the world, including United States, Australia, New Zealand, and the Galapagos Islands, among others. These aromatic plants prefer to grow in moist and damp areas and grows by putting out runners, rather than reproducing via seed dispersal.
There is a wide range of health effects associated with peppermint including its ability to relieve hay fever symptoms, prevent nausea, vomiting, and improve memory and cognitive performance, among many others. Tomorrow I’ll start blogging on the health benefits.
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
Look at these beauties. Yesterday’s walk was around our complex. Admiring the beauty within our apartment complex. We even saw wild life, a rabbit 🐇 and a chipmunk 🐿️ along our two-mile walk.
