Value all your blessings, otherwise you will have nothing left to carry forward in the future.
Hello followers,
Happy Friday!
When I was working full time before retiring, walking out the door on Friday mornings sometimes seemed like leaving for vacation.
There's only eight hours between you and the weekend, so you're ready to take on anything.
Everyone around you seems to be in a better mood, but maybe it is just because you have a different attitude than the rest of the work week.
But who cares?
TGIF!
Or maybe it was my attitude toward Fridays.
An attitude of gratitude means that you operate from a place of abundance instead of a place of scarcity and fear.
Each of us always has a choice of what we will focus on.
Grateful people give thanks for everything in their life, even on the days when it feels like nothing is going right.
To turn an attitude of gratitude into a sustainable habit, your foundation for feelings of gratitude must be independent of your circumstances.
Even on the days when it feels like nothing is going right, you must find the positive aspect and give thanks for what is working.
As Melody Beattie says,
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, and confusion to clarity.”
This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.
Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.
This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.
Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!
Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.
By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.
CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; HEARING
MUSIC FOR BODY AND SOUL
SOUNDS LINKED TO CHAKRAS
The different sound vibrations of the five vowels work a different energy level in the body.
· u (pronounced “oo”) throat
· o (to rhyme with “toe”) heart
· i (to rhyme with “me”) solar plexus
· e (to rhyme with “bed”) sacral
· a (to rhyme with “car”) base or root
from the tradition of yoga comes the idea that the main vowel sounds; a, e, I, o, u is linked to vibratory centers called chakras.
This runs up the spine.
Tomorrow, SOUND TREATMENT/TEN-MINUTE EXERCISE
As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.
January 27th
HAPPINESS COMES FROM cultivating a spirit of contentment.
You are exactly where you need to be.
All the things you wish for may come, but for right now, everything you need has been provided.
Look at your life knowing that everything is as it should be.
Breathe in this truth and find peace knowing that all is well.
Lift your arms to the sky with gratitude.
Feel your heart swell with appreciation and attract happiness by choosing to be content.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Saturday, sometimes let the fear of loss conquer you to realize the depth of appreciation of things around you. As everybody and everything comes with an expiration date.
