Whatever comes, let it come, what stays let stay, what goes let go.
Hello followers,
Thank goodness it is Friday!
When people are very familiar with a situation and outcome, it is more common to experience an illusion of control.
Emotional involvement, this phenomenon is stronger when people have an emotional investment in what happens.
Mood, the effect is lessened among people who have depression.
Depressed people are more likely to make negative judgments about their ability to influence what happens.
Performance, doing well at the beginning of a task often leads people to think they have more control than they do.
Interestingly, researchers have found that people tend to underestimate their own power in situations where they do have high levels of control.
This suggests that people do not just overestimate their level of control; people simply tend to make imperfect estimates of their level of control in general.
As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.
March 24th
THE SUN’S ENERGY IS POWERFUL, and its heat affects the entire solar system.
The fact that the earth is the perfect distance from the sun to be able to sustain life is fascinating.
Knowing that we were born on this planet and receive energy and light from a massive ball of burning gas is awe-inspiring.
Spend some time today, receiving energy from the sun and reveling in the astonishment of the universe.
Offer gratitude for the warmth and life the sun provides.
PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Saturday, life is made up of a collection of moments that are not ours to keep. The pain we encounter throughout our days spent on this earth comes from the illusion that some moments can be held onto. Clinging to people and experiences that were never ours in the first place is what causes us to miss the beauty of the miracle that is the now. All of this is yours, yet none of it is. How could it be? Look around you. Everything is fleeting.
