Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.
WE WILL BE CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.
Hello Followers,
Make this Tuesday count for it’s the last Tuesday of June.
Just think in two more days it will be July.
Wow, I don’t know about you; but this year seems like it is going by so fast!
This year 2022, is half way over.
How many goals have you met that turned into milestones this year?
One way to set goals are to write them down.
Not only does doing so help you further define the milestone, but it also makes you more likely to achieve it.
Milestones really are goals nestled within larger goals, and research shows writing down goals makes you 42% more likely to reach them.
For Dan and I, putting your goals on a sticky note and posting it on the refrigerator helps us to focus on them daily.
I also have magnets on the refrigerator with sayings like; LET IT BE, BE YOURSELF, THERE IS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN ANY OTHER, LISTEN TO THE INWARD VOICE AND BRAVELY OBEY THAT, DO ONE THING EVERY DAY THAT SCARES YOU, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN THE BEAUTY OF THEIR DREAMS.
Those sayings help me go toward my milestones.
It’s the 28th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?
National Tapioca Day – June 28, 2022
Dan and I are excited to tell you about National Tapioca Day.
So, let’s explore this less popular, carb.
Made from the cassava plant, tapioca is versatile, though tapioca pudding is the most popular American dish made with this ingredient, including savory dinner dishes.
Tapioca pudding combines tapioca pearls with liquid to form a delicious, creamy mix.
For many, tapioca is a love/hate relationship.
Perhaps once as a child, you plunged your spoon into it, expecting the smooth vanilla pudding you’re used to.
Instead, you got a mouthful of squishiness.
Such an experience could leave you traumatized and wary of the dessert for years to come.
If this rings true for you, then National Tapioca Day is your time to be brave and give it another try.
If you’re in the camp that has been a fan of tapioca from day one, then you’ll have no problem celebrating.
Maybe you’re even a connoisseur, and can already tell falooda from taho.
Either way, June 28 will bring ample opportunity to either expand your palette and try something new, or spend time savoring a long-time favorite.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
JUST LET GO. LET GO OF HOW YOU THOUGHT YOUR LIFE SHOULD BE, AND EMBRACE THE LIFE THAT IS TRYING TO WORK ITS WAY INTO YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP
WHEN IS HELP -HELP?
In the dark searching we need someone to quietly turn on a light, so together we can walk of the fog.
You may have the opportunity to help someone out of a relationship quandary.
You can turn on the light, if you remember that the best help is help that educates and guides, not giving directions.
But laying out the possibilities.
Continue tomorrow, SUCCESSFUL HELP-
Ending this week on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits and starting on ASTRAGALUS.
It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?
How about another recipe?
ASHWAGANDHA GHEE-
Combining ashwagandha with pungent spices and ghee is a traditional Ayurvedic practice.
You can make your ghee, or buy it at a health food store or online.
You can also substitute coconut oil for the ghee.
Trikatu powder is an Ayurvedic herbal formula that is a simple combination of three pungent herbs.
You can make your own or simply substitute an equal amount of black pepper.
The spices in this recipe increases the absorption of the ashwagandha, while the ghee is a good source of healthy fats.
The sweet taste of honey is commonly added for people who have a cold and dry constitution.
A spoonful a day helps people who have anxiety or insomnia.

1 tablespoon honey
½ cup ashwagandha powder (25 grams)
