Working out is an investment in your future self.

CONTINUING ON THE SERIES, HOW THOUGHTS AFFECT OUR HEALTH/BODY? AND ON THE SERIES; GRATITUDE AND HOW IT CHANGES OUR BRAIN TO BE HAPPIER. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

Say goodbye to November, for tomorrow is the day of December.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.

Happy Hump Day!

As we go into the Christmas mood, our mind-body connection is far more powerful.

And this leads us to our new series, how thoughts affect our body/health?

No matter your struggle, success always begins with a positive frame of mind.

Perspective is everything.

The third key point to remember…

Both negative and positive emotions left unresolved will deplete the body’s immune system.

Acknowledge your feelings and learn how to manage them effectively.

Managing emotions leads to homeostasis in the body, centeredness of mind, and spiritual connection.

Remember, if there are no peaks or valleys, you’re flatlining!

NOVEMBER 30th, Dan, and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about November that is so significant during this month?

National Stay at Home Because You're Well Day – November 30, 2022

National Stay at Home Because You’re Well Day falls annually on November 30.

This day, created by Thomas and Ruth Roy of Wellcat Holidays & Herbs, encourages us to take the day off to rest and recuperate from our busy work schedules, and not just because we’re ill or need to fake an illness to get personal time off.

Over the years, our work lives have increasingly grown busy, and with the invention of so many work tools to keep us in check, it’s hard to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

A lot of us are usually overworked, stressed, and can’t seem to find time for ourselves away from our busy schedules.

National Stay at Home Because You’re Well Day was created to solve this problem.

Thomas and Ruth Roy created Stay Home Because You’re Well Day so we can all call in well, instead of faking an illness, just to stay home from work.

Almost all of us are guilty of searching for excuses to stay away from work, and this day urges us to stop all the faking and simply stay home because we’re in need of some time off.

Thomas Roy is an American film, television, and voice actor, and is married to Ruth Roy.

Together, they have created several holidays under the name of Wellcat Holidays, simply because they felt we needed more fun and creative ways to celebrate days of the year.

Back in the late ‘80s, Thomas came up with his first copyrighted holiday, Northern Hemisphere Hoodie-Hoo Day, which asks citizens to go outdoors and yell “Hoodie-Hoof” at high noon, to chase winter, and make ready for spring.

Since then, they have had over 80 registered quirky days, some of which have been featured in “USA Today”, “The Los Angeles Times”, and many other publications, television, and shows.

National Stay at Home Because You’re Well Day is celebrated annually on November 30 and is one of the couple’s quirkier and most anticipated holidays.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes, one quote and share with you.

Today is:

WHATEVER YOUR PATH IN LIFE, IF YOU CAN RELY ON YOURSELF AND HAVE SELF-CONFIDENCE YOU SUCCEED.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; TOUCH

TOUCH THE ESSENCE OF CARE-

Touch is also a keyway of communicating care and security to the brain, which allows a change in our internal biochemical balance to relieve stress and anxiety.

Appropriate caring touch is one of the most valuable ways of relaxing and supporting body and mind.

Tomorrow, SWITCHING ON THE SENSE-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

AN INVESTMENT

Until the first day of December, cheerfulness is the best promoter

of health and is as friendly to the mind as to the body.
