You and I are not what we eat; we are what we think.

RECAPPING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF AUG 22nd to AUG 28th. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Happy Sunday!

A thought, you and I are not what we eat; we are what we think.

This had me thinking and I have been wrong, for Dan and I have been preaching that you are what you eat.

We have been putting all our time and energy in educating people on you are what you eat. In reality, you are what you think!

To me this means that through education and knowledge of what you learned and by what you think you would eat the healthier foods, which feeds your cells and clears your mind. But WHAT, I guess Dan and I are not totally wrong!

“We spend all our time and money and energy trying to change our experience on the outside, not realizing that the whole thing is being projected from the inside out.”—Michael Neill, Author

So, if you think you’re a failure, you’ll feel like a failure, and then you’ll act like a failure.

As long as you give attention to the thought that you’re a failure, you’ll continue to experience this reality, which then reinforces your belief that you must be a failure.

This is called a thought pattern and it has the power to destroy your life.

The more you do something, the more likely it is that you will do it again in the future.

Repetition rewires the brain and breeds habits.

The more the neurons fire together, the more likely it is that they will fire together in the future.

Every thought we experience creates a chemical reaction in the brain which then triggers an emotion.

As we engage with this thought, it creates a new circuit that sends a signal to the body and we react a certain way.

The more we repeat this pattern, the more it seeps into our mind and becomes a habit.

This is why neuroscientists say “cells that fire together wire together.”

As you keep thinking the same thoughts, producing the same emotions and performing the same actions, you continue to live by the same experiences.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Today, we’re right back where we were with the Romans.

Just about everything’s right-handed.

Take jet planes, the pilot sits on the left side so they can operate the all-important center control panel.

But what if the pilots left-handed?

They’d be more efficient on the other side, but they are not allowed to sit there.

Is this the safest possible arrangement?

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

An open mind to brighter possibilities opens doors that decades of experience thought for certain were locked.

Behind each set of eyes lives another wandering soul who, under different circumstances; could have been you.

Tomorrow Dan and I will start on a new series; POWER.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

RECAPPING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF AUG 22nd to AUG 28th. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.

One small positive thought can change your whole day.

Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.

The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.

The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts.

What we do comes out of who we believe we are.

The mind is what it thinks. To make it true, think true.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WORDS VICTOR AND VICTIM

It’s two letter words!

The difference between mere survival and successful living in a difficult relationship may be adjusting to what is possible, rather than wishing for what is unlikely to be.

Difficult relationships, in many ways; are a great blessing, rather than the worst thing in life.

They offer lessons in what to do and what not to do, even as they offer an opportunity to build a unique creation from the ingredient at hand.

DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS OFFER LESSONS IN WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

SAGE LEMON TEA

Sage tea is a simple and delicious way to enjoy the many benefits of sage.

Try this before or after a meal to support your digestion.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Saturday afternoon walk, very 🔥 HOT❗ however, was able to find beauty through the path along the trail.

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Meditation to Ignite Your Healing Power: Emotional and Physical Self-Healing Reset

When you need emotional or physical healing, this practice offers a powerful reset for you to reignite your own self-healing ability.

Your thoughts and the words used to shape them, can influence your body’s ability to heal.

Your body’s cells are in constant communication with each other and collectively they hear what you are thinking, saying, and believing about yourself.

Therefore, having positive thoughts and using positive words can create a healing environment for your cells to ignite your self-healing power.

This meditation will access your subconscious and set off the powerful healing ability within you.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

WE ARE WHAT WE 🤔 THINK

You and I are not what we eat; we are what we think. #you#not#what#eat#we#think🤔 #inspirational#motivational

Until Monday, the highest possible stage in moral culture is when we recognize that we ought to control our thoughts.
