CONTINUING SERIES ON BELIEVING AND SERIES OF HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP OUR BODY CELLS HAPPY
Hello Followers,
Its time, yes; to wake up this morning - rise and shine, it’s Monday. When you wake this morning, you have two choices.
You can either be positive or negative; an optimist or a pessimist. Dan and I choose to be optimist.
For what you see and hear depends a good deal on where you are standing; it’s also depends on what sort of person you choose to be.
Let’s bring a smile to our faces, Dan and I are smiling at you for this inspires confidence. A simple smile can be a doorway for many opportunities. A smile suggests that you are accommodating a willing to listen and shows a friendly gesture.
Let’s go. The good life is right there for the making →
LET YOUR SPIRIT SHINE THROUGH
You have an inner jewel. Let your spirit, the divine gem, shine through, and create a radiance about you where ever you go.
Let your mind be planted with seeds of love, joy, hope, courage, universal goodwill and an opulent harvest shall grow.
Think of each year as a sower scattering these seeds in your heart; then water them with the dews of sympathy, and throw open the windows to the broad sunlight of heaven while they ripen.
And as surely as the days come and go. So, surely shall your life grow. By Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Continuing SERIES OF HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP OUR BODY CELLS HAPPY! This goes hand in hand with self-love. In all fairness, this is what makes our bodies operate. Today I’m blogging on antioxidants. Did you know that the cell membrane is also very important for cell health?
Yes, because it helps to protect the cell and thus the all-important nucleus from assaults from outside.
Oxygen is highly important for our body to perform all of its normal functions, but while our body is highly efficient at using oxygen, in about 1-2% of cases free radicals will be created as an unwanted by-product. These are atoms or groups of atoms with unpaired electrons, making them highly reactive. These free radicals then try to steel electrons in order to become stable, and can thus damage other important molecules such as DNA, RNA, cell membranes, proteins etc. in the process. Once those molecules become damaged, they can then act as free radicals themselves leading to a cascading effect.
Free radicals can also come from other places (such as molecules being damaged by heat or smoke), but oxygen is one of the most common causes. The reactiveness of oxygen is what makes it useful, but it is also what makes it damaging.
The antioxidants in our diet can neutralize these free radicals, so that they are eliminated when they come into contact. There are many great antioxidants in our diet, which include things like vitamin C, vitamin E and flavonoids. Getting these in your diet is one of the best ways to improve cell health.
It also follows of course that you can avoid damage from free radicals by preventing them from occurring in the first place. This can be achieved by avoiding cigarette smoke, sunburn and other toxins that wage war on the surface of our cells and can potentially lead to serious problems if they reach the DNA.
Wow, that was a mouth full, but very important to now. Tomorrow I will continue with how to improve the function of our cells by helping them to create and use energy?
Everyday Dan and I start our day with a 10–20-minute meditation, this goes back ten years ago. This is one of the therapies that I received in Mexico as one of the treatments. Meditation is the habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts.
You can use it to increase awareness of yourself and your surroundings. Dan and I think of it as a way to reduce stress and develop concentration.
We also use the practice to develop other beneficial habits and feelings, such as a positive mood and outlook, self-discipline, healthy sleep patterns, and even increased pain tolerance. So, today I’m repeating the meditation that was on yesterday’s blog.

Tamara Levitt guides this 10 minute Daily Calm mindfulness meditation to powerfully restore and re-connect with the present.
UP YOUR SKILL SET
One of the great things about spending time in your own company is that you can learn a new skill. Whether you choose to self-teach using a book or the internet or attend a class is up to you. It could be learning a new language or instrument, or something more practical like painting or knitting.
FEEL THE FEAR
It’s easy to mistake being alone for being lonely, but that is rarely the case when you are making the choice to be on your own for a small amount of time. Instead, you will start to see who you are without being propped up by friends, family or a social event. You will start to hear your own voice clearly.
It’s important to allow your inner voice to speak. You may have been ignoring it for a while, or the noise of your busy social life may have drowned it out. Either way, enjoy the opportunity to spend some time alone and get to know yourself again. The benefit will soon become clear. Whether you’re heading to the cinema or simply flicking through Netflix, the choice is all yours. Go ahead, choose a cheesy romantic comedy to watch, order Chinese food and know that these few hours are completely your own.

Another practice that Dan and I do almost each morning is Qigong. Do you know what this is?
Well, Qigong is a mind-body exercise form that uses meditation, breathing, and movement to increase energy and enable the body to heal itself. The exercise and healing techniques used were developed in ancient China and Tibet. It is practiced for a variety of reasons and has countless health-related benefits. So, this was the first time Dan and I used this video yesterday, I thought why not repeat it today!
Qigong for Inner Peace
Slow down, and pause to explore what it means to notice, experience the power of observation and listening deeply...allowing inner peace unravelling through your universe. Enjoy!
As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry from 5-15-11; WATER.
As you already can tell by now, I am passionate on the issue of food and how it relates to your immune system. There is another component in keeping your body healthy, and this would be the water we drink.
WE ARE BORN FROM OUR MOTHER’S WOMB WITH OUR BODIES BEING ALKALINE.
WE ARE MADE UP OF 70% OF WATER.
AS WE GET OLDER, WE DRINK SODAS AND OTHER DRINKS WHICH ARE ACIDIC AND EAT FOODS THAT ARE THE SAME.
THE FOOD AND WATER WE USE ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO OUR HEALTH.
Before we explore what water is, we must realize its something we need to continue to educate ourselves with and the knowledge of the importance which works within our systems. Continue tomorrow on what exactly is water!
Wow, yesterday walked 3️⃣ miles and Dan and I saved the world ⁉️ Sometimes this is the best time for visions and to dream all the while noticing along the way a lonesome pine cone 🌲
Did you do your walking for the day? Dan and I take walks almost every day, except if the weather does not allow us to; however, if this happens, we do fall on WALK AT HOME.

Until Tuesday, be careful with what seeds you allow to root in the garden of your heart. Not all seeds bear good fruit. You plant seeds every single day, in the world and in others, with every thought you think and word you speak and action you take. You have influence. You're making a dent in the universe and you matter, in a very real way.
