WE WILL BE CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.

Hello Followers,

Are you ready for a brand-new week!

A new beginning!

And new challenges!

A new journey!

These are what makes up milestones.

Let’s take it one at a time, slowly.

If setting a dozen milestones at once is too daunting, try setting a new milestone only after achieving the last one.

If you’re learning to grow herbs, for instance, you might decide which herb you want to learn next depending on how difficult you found the last one.

You might say, doesn’t that make achieving your overall goal more difficult?

Not necessarily.

You just need to know the general path.

With the growing herbs for example, your plan may be to learn more about growing every other week.

The specifics don’t matter until it’s time to grow them.

Find something new to learn this week!

I’m going to learn how to have a green thumb, started an organic herb garden.

It’s the 27th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?

National Onion Day – June 27, 2022

Today, farmers in the United States are collecting millions of onions.

They will be heading for store shelves to provide families with the fresh, nutritional, tasty power to improve meals and boost the body’s immunity.

Onions have numerous advantages, such as enhancing meals with a variety of flavors.

According to recent research, consuming onions also helps the body fight colorectal cancer and breast cancer, as well as heart disease and diabetes.

As I was taught during my functional medicine treatments from breast cancer in Mexico, besides tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers; onions are my everyday go to vegetables.

Each day I cook most of my breakfasts with these ingredients, along with dinners.

National Onion Day commemorates the incorporation of the National Onion Association in 1913.

The organization was created to protect the interests of America’s onion growers, and onions remain their business to this day.

Today, the group represents over 500 onion producers, shippers, packers, and suppliers across the country.

In June 2022, the National Onion Association established National Onion Day to commemorate the organization’s 53rd anniversary.

They officially incorporated on June 27, 1913, in Ohio, and represent almost 500 onion farmers, shippers, packers, and allied members across the U.S.

Onions are one of the world’s oldest cultivated vegetables, having originated in Central Asia and spread around the world.

Some researchers believe the onion has been cultivated for at least 5,000 years.

Onions were possibly eaten for thousands of years and cultivated all over the world at the same time, since they grew wild in different locations.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

JOY IS THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP

WHEN IS HELP -HELP?

No one sees through the fog clearly when all the worst realities and prognosis hit you squarely like a fist to the face.

Denial blocks the vision.

No one sees a light if their own thoughts are merely echoed.

In the dark searching, we need someone to quietly turn on a light, so together we can walk out of the fog.
