TODAY CONTINUING ON - WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

Happy Monday!

Wow, it’s the first day of August and a new beginning.

So, how can you use adversity to be strong and to move forward?

It’s about fighting for your happiness.

We all experience hardships.

Some people get through them with greater ease than others because of their attitude and choices.

Their mindset propels them forward.

They don't let suffering run their lives and they work through the hard times, even when everything is falling down around them and they can't seem to get a break.

When you're in a dark, troubled place acknowledge it.

Face your fears, worries and enemies and see what happens.

When you look right into the face of despair and start to deal with it, you're on your way to freedom.

Remember you're up to it.

Your values, world knowledge and character will lead and empower you.

Fight for your life and your happiness.

We were designed to survive!

AUGUST – 1st, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?

International Childfree Day – August 1, 2022

This day is celebrated to understand and support couples who have decided not to have children.

It was started in 1973 by the National Alliance for Optional Parenthood.

The organization was founded in 1972 in California to propagate and normalize the notion that people can choose not to have children.

Celebration of the day was revived in 2013 by Laura Carroll since couples all over the world still face criticism, rejection, and occasionally, rage from other people when they decide to remain childfree.

The idea of children continuing family values is as old as mankind.

It is one of the traits that helped us become the superior species on this planet.

We share our DNA, blood, flesh, knowledge, experience, emotions, and much more with our children.

Our society has increased in size and strength through this bond, and family values have become an important aspect of every person’s life.

Every religion and culture in the world stress the importance of matrimony and having children.

Some people even look down on those who do not have children.

As the years’ progress, family and social structures have changed.

The human population is now higher than it has ever been.

The cost of living is only increasing, but living standards, access to medical care, and independence have decreased along with this.

During the medieval ages up until recently, having more children was considered safer for the legacy of a family, but nowadays, most developed families have up to a maximum of three kids.

Some countries even have a single child policy to control the problem of overpopulation.

People have started to identify the importance of raising a responsible child.

The idea that one does not need children has also spread, with people choosing a carefree and independent life over the strings of lifelong responsibilities.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO SERVE TIME. TIME IS MEANT TO SERVE YOU. BECOME THE MASTER OF YOUR NOW.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 18; SEE THE POSSIBILITIES-

FAITH TAKES RISKS-

There’s a story about two seeds that lay side by side in the fertile spring soil.

The first seed said, I want to grow and send my roots deep into the soil beneath me and thrust my sprouts through the earth’s crust above me.

I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the refreshing morning dew on my petals.

And so, the seed grew.

The second seed said, I’m afraid.

If I send my roots into the ground below, I may bump into rocks or bugs.

It will be dark and damp.

If I push my way through the hard soil above me, I may damage my delicate sprouts.

I will wait until it is safe.

And so, the seed waited.

In the early spring, a bird scratching around for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

Screwed-up people, like the bird, will swallow your joy.

Continue tomorrow-

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes

CHAPTER 1; WHAT IS STRESS?

GETTING IN TOUCH WITH STRESS-

One of the most important ways of starting to identify how you respond to stress yourself is to get in touch with your own typical responses to it.

We are all different.

We have all had particular life experiences and been exposed to situations that are unique to us.

We will all respond to outside influences in different ways.

Our reactions to things that stress us will be stored somewhere in the body.

Our physical self holds patterns or memories of stress.

Dr. Candance Pert has shown, through her amazing research into the brain; that mind is not just in the head.

All the different cells and tissues in the body are capable of holding emotional patterns.

Yet because of the distraction of everyday external pressures, we are often totally unaware of the level of discomfort that we are actually holding.

Continue tomorrow-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

YOU WERE SCARED 😳

You were scared, but you still got here; don’t forget that. #wearedesignedtosurvive#scared#stillgothere#forget#that#inspirational#motivational

Until Tuesday, you can play it safe, and I wouldn’t blame you for it.

You can continue as you’ve been doing, and you’ll survive, but is that what you want?

Is that enough?
